My headphones and right controller both finally broke at the same time last night. My controller is handling the duct tape well for now, but the headphones are a lost cause. If anyone would like to help me out while I'm completely broke, reminder I do have a Throne wishlist! throne.com/drumhunter

If you use generative AI to "explore ideas" you are mentally weaker than even the smallest child. If you feel that you need generative AI to "structure your thoughts" you lack the confidence of an 8 year old. If you feel shame about your diminished inner world, you should. You're bad at daydreaming

Did Expedition 33 dupe you? That's okay, they did this before with The Alters. They like to lie, and the Game Awards is purely propaganda. Report the game and studio on Steam for abuse. Lying about AI usage is against their usage terms. Mass report, and leave reviews with your honest feelings.

Fellow gamers I regret to inform you, after spending time in development spaces, getting to testing stage and restarting again with a card game of my own: I think our opinions might be about 95% less useful or valid than we think I have learned that I knew nothing at all and still don't really

Finished Metaphor Refantazio by the way. Some good messaging, some enjoyable characters. I did really like it, but I don't understand why everyone was acting like it was the second coming of RPGesus. It's often tedious, laborious to read, and the combat loses its luster quickly.

Whenever someone brings up Tolkien's Orcs and talks about them as if they are a naturally evolved and fully sentient species, I get to do this cool thing where I instantly disregard any opinion they have going forward about the topic. Ma'am those are effectively a step up from zombies, calm down

Metaphor re:Fantazio is, so far, like a 7 for me, it would immediately be a 9 if they would allow us to declutter the UI and turn off the incessant, bafflingly abrasive callout popups. I came to genuinely hate Gallica because of these. I used to love her. #Metaphor #Atlus

Pokemon does not need voice acting. It needs a better and kinder development culture and cycle, and Nintendo needs to stop hiring fascists for their movies.

If you ever wonder what tumblr is like, the current discourse there is predominantly that consensual sex is bad sex, and that all kink is noncon. It's pretty awful I would genuinely rather be on 4chan most days 👍 They also are the epitome of r/iamverysmart stories
