I bought some mushrooms at the farmers’ market on Broadway today. They are called “wishi” in the Cherokee language. You may know them better by their Japanese name “maitake” or the English “hen-of-the-woods.” I’m excited to share them with my Cherokee professor tomorrow!

I don’t think this is real. Photographs from Hubble create four-pointed stars because of the camera lens. I don’t see that here. I only searched briefly, but reverse image searching this does not bring you to any reliable sources either. Citing your sources means actual citation, not vague gesture.
