Our space selfie was finally taken! I submitted our photo over 16 months ago to the Crunchlabs Space Selfie program, and the SAT GUS satellite recently (today?) took a photo with our selfie in the foreground of Earth. There's even a reflection of the satellite camera itself.

The push to move towards the MPAS dynamical core continues to gain momentum. Development at the Lab has begun to explore what a variable-resolution mesh for WoFS would look like and perform at the 1-km resolution. @drstratman.bsky.social's poster will shed some light into this.
