Am I surprised? Frankly, sadly, no. For reasons surpassing understanding - and certainly without a firm understanding of how scientific research works, RFK Jr. really does have a thing about mRNA vaccines. Oddly, his "health" reservations don't seem to extend to eating roadkill.

I see someone trying to help another person who is being pepper sprayed. Federal agents grab him the Samaritan, throwing him to the ground and piling on. Then shots are heard, but I did not see a gun in the hand of the person who was shot. Looks like another ICE murder - that will get covered up.

Your point? Resisting arrest and fleeing the scene, even if suspected of a violent crime, are not capital offenses. And shooting at a moving vehicle violates proper police procedure, not that these ICE thugs would have an knowledge of or respect for that.

I wish we could begin a serious discussion of Trump's mental stability. Psychologically healthy, well-adjusted adults simply do not behave as he does, do not say the kinds of things he does. It's not necessary to arrive at a specific diagnosis. Common sense tells us this just isn't normal.

Vance is at least equally deserving of censure. Not that it will happen. Vance blathers on about diplomacy, but then loses his temper when he is utterly unable to counter Zelensky's accurate recitation of history.

Watch the clip carefully. Zelensky is recounting the history of negotiations with Putin since 2014, then asks Vance what "diplomacy" he's referring to. Listen to Vance's reply. It's clear he cannot substantively counter what Zelensky says, so he torpedoes the discussion. And Trump joins in.

I watched the clip, and I'm embarrassed by this country's leadership. They're ignorant of the facts, intemperate in discussion, and resort to bullying and talking over a sovereign leader who displayed remarkable restraint. Trump and Vance did not act like my idea of an American leader.
