It's too late, I have already depicted myself as the calm and collected Miyamoto Musashi and you as the wailing, petrified demon wall.

063

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

This might be the most insane effect I've ever seen in a game lmao

142

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 07/05/2026

I think StarFox looks pretty sweet actually. Looking forward to it.

030

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 23/04/2026

And she's already in a much better game. GOD BLESS THE RING. This is a joke since you need to state this outright on social media now.

020

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

Finally played Drakengard to ending A and realised that the first guy here is correct.

240

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 10/03/2026

As usual, the fiction that people write about this game online is truly something. Totally fucking toxic and useless conversations. Welcome back skub.

021

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 10/03/2026

I said from day 1 that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is an exercise on focusing your development time on the aspects that actually matter and this is totally in line with that. But people will use this as an excuse to say its bad or something.

141

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 26/02/2026

Can't think of a better way to celebrate stories that explore the nature of humanity like Yoko Taro's work and Neon Genesis Evangelion than some absolute AI bullshit. So sad to see a talented artist resort to this crap.

141

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 26/02/2026

Not being allowed to laugh at ridiculous marketing statements without being called "miserable" by social media users has led to the absolute insane statement of the game's target audience being "content lovers" lmao

220

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 10/02/2026

Nevermind, Romeo is a Dead Man just launched on Steam.

040

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 10/02/2026

I still don't give a shit that a Riot project failed cus Riot are scumbags. Thank you.

100

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 10/02/2026

Having a great time with Nioh 1. I've put it off for ages and I was even in one of the first beta's for it but just never made the time. Plus you play as an Irish guy and the game starts with you murdering the English and fleeing to Japan so finally I feel represented.

050

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 03/02/2026

Just read someone saying "If you want to get rid of Riot from the FGC then we would have to get rid of SNK too."

121

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 20/01/2026

Also decided to check the Official Art Works and the original decal is there but sadly with no commentary.

011

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 20/01/2026

As has been covered previously, the Japanese sticker on top of this reads "I <3 Osaka". This is a reference to the location of Capcom's headquarters which I visited myself recently. I also love Osaka so me and Nico are in agreement on this.

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 20/01/2026

I remember going over every screenshot of the Devil May Cry van in the DMC5info days but somehow I still missed a detail. Nico has a "Proud to be Single" bumper sticker but with "Single" ripped off. Did she find a partner? Did Nero put it there as a prank? It is a mystery.

151

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 04/04/2025

The breathy white girl version of Devils Never Cry at the end of every episode makes me want to kill myself. Also I think I'm having more fun with the closed captions than the actual show.

120

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 03/04/2025

I'm gonna have to watch this shitty Devil May Cry Netflix show, right? Question is do I drag someone down with me?

021

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 03/04/2025

Its April 3rd, you know what that means high-octane action game fans! This party is getting crazy... Guilty Gear Strive Dual Rulers releases in 2 days! Who is Unika and why are they trying to stop Ky and Dizzy's wedding? Can't wait to find out.

061

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 18/02/2025

Man something just clicked with DMC5 Vergil last night and I was just firing off perfect Judgement Cuts. Totally going to lose the rhythm by the time I go back to play today though.

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 18/02/2025

So true internet user, the reason why the modern iteration of a franchise has less features or customisation isn't because dev pipelines are streamlined, game budgets have not raised in line with dev costs or a myriad of other reasons. It's because the developers are lazy!

020

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 17/02/2025

Happy Devil May Cry 3 20th anniversary! It doesn't need to be remade.

1171

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 30/01/2025

Today is the Japanese anniversary of Devil May Cry 2! The black sheep of DMC in terms of quality but overhated and underappreciated for what it is - a pretty average PS2 action game for its time. Play it with an open mind and not what youtubers tell you and you might find yourself appreciating it.

272

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 27/01/2025

Also it’s fun to play

010

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 17/12/2024

Like what are we doing here? If you have nothing to say then saying nothing is actually an option. I don't know if people are aware of this.

000

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 04/12/2024

Absolutely not shocked in the least

120

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

Kinda feeling like getting a car and a phone while playing Quantum Break for some reason

020

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

Quantum Break seems pretty cool

010

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 21/11/2024

People are talking about Stellar Blade combat again so I get to bring back this from my old account

0175

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 18/11/2024

It would be genuinely so funny if Bloober team got to pick up an award for the best narrative on Silent Hill 2, it almost makes me want to see it happen.

000

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 18/11/2024

Not a single nomination for Persona 3 Reload just highlights to me what a joke The Game Awards really is. The fact that Metaphor exists at all just disqualifies it from being up for the same categories. Bravo as usual Geoff, looking forward to the ads.

110

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 18/11/2024

So what is the point of the Best Game Direction award? Does Geoff even know what a director on a video game does?

131

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 17/11/2024

Playing Reload right now

130

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 14/11/2024

Finally transferred a good chunk of follows over here. Gonna try to use this more often. Don't know if you noticed but Twitter sucks ass.

070

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 28/10/2024

I played a few hours of Mega Man Legends for the first time and it's such a frustrating game. A 10/10 in most aspects but the combat which is total dogshit and has some of the worst platforming I've seen even from games of this era. Genuinely wonder what they were thinking.

100

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 25/10/2024

I played Resident Evil 2 Remake with the fixed camera angle mod and even as your local fixed camera angle advocate it shocked me how good it was at highlighting details in the environment. Credit must go to the mod creator to for their careful choices on where to place it.

040

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 17/10/2024

Hey I'm Doc, don't follow me and leave me alone.

171

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 27/06/2024

I check this site out again every time I see Twitter has done something insanely stupid just to see if its a viable replacement. See you again in a few months.

011

Doc @drshyguy.bsky.social · 02/01/2024

I keep forgetting I have an account here. Still kinda barebones functionality-wise. Hope it can be a proper Twitter replacement soon.
