Adam Vitale @drseda.bsky.social · 02/10/2026I posted the first version of our 2027 RPG release date list, continuing a project I've done for years. It's a lot of work to put these together, but fun to see at a glance what we are looking forward to next year. And of course, please reach out of you notice any mistakes or omissions~ 1130

Adam Vitale @drseda.bsky.social · 21/09/2026You can see bits and pieces of those group dynamics in support conversations, but only if you happen to recruit 2+ people from the same group. Would be nice to get those more fleshed out. 100
Adam Vitale @drseda.bsky.social · 19/09/202620.) Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Honestly, I've spent so much time guiding this game I feel like I haven't really formed a strong opinion on it. It is definitely taking the biggest swing possible for what Fire Emblem can be, for better or worse. 020
Adam Vitale @drseda.bsky.social · 19/09/202619.) Baten Kaitos Remaster I've been meaning to replay the Baten Kaitos games for a while, and at least got through the original. The first one is an interesting combo of RPG, deck-builder, & adventure game, but I've always felt that Origins was a much, much better game overall. Good twist, though. 120
Adam Vitale @drseda.bsky.social · 19/09/202618.) Granblue Fantasy: Relink - Endless Ragnarok I didn't care for the endgame hamster wheel of original Relink, this is just more hamster wheel. Fighting the same seven bosses over and over to incrementally gain bigger numbers is mind-numbing. The few new battles are genuinely fun, but sheesh. 100
Adam Vitale @drseda.bsky.social · 19/09/202617.) Tales of Symphonia Decided to replay this, just because. It was my first Tales, so I'll always be biased towards it. I love the music. Remember when RPGs had dungeons? Maybe it's the childhood nostalgia talking, but it's also has one of my favorite endings ever. 100

Adam Vitale @drseda.bsky.social · 18/09/2026If I was a developer, I would probably be satisfied knowing a game I worked on was bold/creative enough that the response to it was varied and didn't simply blandly appeal to every possible gamer. 2171
Adam Vitale @drseda.bsky.social · 18/09/2026If everyone always agreed, then what would even be the point of reviews. 030
Adam Vitale @drseda.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Somewhat random shout, if you messaged me in the last two months and I didn't reply, I apologize. I've been dealing with work, illness, and injury, and been taking a break from social media. Doing better now, so I should be more available going forward. 2100
Adam Vitale @drseda.bsky.social · 17/09/2026If I had to pick one guide page that is most useful, broadly, even to those who want to figure things out on their own, it would be the Paralogues page. These battles have limited windows of availability & can easily be missed if you don't know when to look for them. www.rpgsite.net/guide/21387-...rpgsite.netFire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Paralogues - How to access all Paralogue battles and where to find them | RPG SiteAccessing the various Paralogues in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave can be tricky. That's where this page will help out, showing availability and deadlines for all Paralogues in the game. 0144
Adam Vitale @drseda.bsky.social · 17/09/2026It's one of those things that you don't HAVE to do every week, just a reminder that you can. On the flipside, you probably don't want to skip them entirely.. Honestly though, this is one of those games where, by the final deadline, the game is pretty generous with your time allotment to explore. 120
Adam Vitale @drseda.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Dadga is called a 'sun-soaked' continent and there's actually a decent variety of skin tones throughout the game. 010
Adam Vitale @drseda.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Obviously it's launch day, so things will be ironed out in the coming days as people start their playthrough, but hopefully those jumping into this massive, complex game will find this resource helpful. 2100
Adam Vitale @drseda.bsky.social · 17/09/2026For Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, I wrote up numerous pages of tips, information, system explainers, plus guided walkthroughs for each protagonist. I even drew a few maps that should be very helpful (like for exploring the desert!). Paralogues, Recruitment, Support, New Game Plus?, it's all here. 415237
Adam Vitale @drseda.bsky.social · 16/09/2026I played this part BEFORE the August Fire Emblem direct that publicly revealed the game's structure. That was fun. 220
Adam Vitale @drseda.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Mu is indeed the Donnel of Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave (their personal ability is specifically enhanced stat growths). While they may seem like an awkward/bratty teen at the start, feed them some EXP and they'll become a powerhouse in your final endgame party. My Mu punched everything to oblivion. 190
Adam Vitale @drseda.bsky.social · 16/09/2026You do get to pick a character at the very end of the game (maybe more than 100 hours later) for Eshmel to have a small scene with, but it's not marriage or even necessarily romantic (mine wasnt). As far as I know, the options are the same regardless of gender. You can also switch Eshmel's gender. 020
Adam Vitale @drseda.bsky.social · 16/09/2026My answer to this is that romance isn't really a focus this time around. There is a wide variety of characters and a lot of supports, so naturally there is *some* romance between some units, but it's not a driving factor of the game imo. Your avatar (Eshmel) can't do Supports until the final part. 140
Adam Vitale @drseda.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Breaking my Bluesky hiatus to say I have put 250 hours into Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave (I did NOT play this game normally) and there will be more from me soon... 4352

Adam Vitale @drseda.bsky.social · 24/07/2026Did you know MOMO is widely considered the strongest character in Xenosaga Episode II, due to her high EATK stat and piercing non-elemental behavior. She can be easily manipulated in Boost chains to deal extremely high damage, and she can heal! I have no idea where she got the bow and beret, though. 0103

Adam Vitale @drseda.bsky.social · 21/07/2026Stuff like this is where I think review aggregate scores do have some value. Obviously, you'd hopefully go to writers you trust to read up on praises/criticisms, and this isn't 'the truth' or anything like that, but more of an at-a-glance, bird's-eye, zoomed-out view of broad reception. 020
