We’re building the first pan-European network to connect disciplines from weather and climate science to disaster risk reduction and communication. The goal? Stronger early warnings, better preparedness, and more effective action across timescales and hazards, close to taxpayer needs.

Invited perspectives: Advancing knowledge co-creation in drought impact studies
Abstract. Drought impacts are increasingly recognized as interdisciplinary, socially influenced processes often resulting in uneven outcomes across different social groups, rather than as mere hydro-c...

A gentle reminder that if we miss the 1.5°C target (and we certainly will), the next target is 1.51°C and not 2°C. We need to keep fighting. Every tonne of CO₂ emitted makes the job of future CO₂ removal harder, and every 0.01°C of temperature increase makes the world more chaotic and dangerous.
Cover from The Economist from two years ago "Say goodbye to 1.5°C; why climate policy is off target". It has a graphic of the Earth with an apple on its head, and a arrow shot through the Earth.

COP29 will be the Finance COP. But does our science undermine financial flows to adaptation? When we talk about maladaptation and that indicators of adaptation success don't work, we risk hurting the most vulnerable people. New perspective from me and Aditi Mukherji today in Science
