Animatictober Day 13: Roughs 25% We're 25% of the way there now! A couple segments gave me a run for my money. I conquered some and some I will definitely need to revisit. I am proud of myself for trying angles I would shy away from in the past. #animatictober #wip

Animatictober Day 12: Roughs 10% Here's the opening 27 seconds of the animatic. There will probably be some adjustments down the line. It's great getting to have the characters in the backgrounds. #animatictober #wip

Animatictober Day 11: Blocking 100% I chose one heck of a day to start doing reel updates. I made some rough cuts for the second half of the animatic because its mostly a black background. Without the characters, it's a bit boring. The backgrounds a pretty simple for this. #animatictober #wip

Sometimes when I go to a con, I'll mentally bookmark art that I like but on the fence about to revisit but having the time to actually circle back is hit or miss.

Its so hard only picking a few artists at a con to buy from when theres so many great artists and only few monies

Animatictober Day 10: Blocking 50% Today's a late post since I was out and about today. I started my file in Storyboard Pro and began blocking out the backgrounds. Thankfully it's a lot of copying and pasting. Starting tomorrow I may switch to posting reels for my updates. #animatictober #wip

Animatictober Day 9: Color Script I was originally just going to do a typical grayscale coloring and thought it would be fun for the color to change as the side characters pop in and out of scenes. I plan for the scenes in the darkness to be a staticky background.

A collection of thumbnail boards with color.

Animatictober Day 8: Review Work Chose to line up my thumbnails on one page and to do sketched character line up. I thought of an idea that incorporates some color but I'll show more of that tomorrow. I also added some character & stage directions to the thumbs. #animatictober #roughsketch

Animatictober Day 7: Rest Today's a rest day so I made something ahead of time to keep the flow. I thought it would be fun for my rest days to have a rough sketch of the main character for the animatic with the 3 main side characters. So Sam & Kelly chill on top of the car as I rest.

A rough sketch of two girls sitting on top of a car. The words Day 7 Rest is written next to the girls

Vote Blue

After the Department of Homeland Security announced it would waive laws to enable miles of border wall construction in Texas, President Joe Biden said he "can't stop" the money being spent on border barriers because of the way it was appropriated by Congress. That's correct, experts told us.
When asked about the news on Oct. 5 that new border wall construction would indeed commence under his administration, Biden told reporters: "The border wall - the money was appropriated for the border wall.
I tried to get to them to reappropriate it, to redirect that money. They didn't. They wouldn't. And in the meantime, there's nothing under the law other than they have to use the money for what it was appropriated. I can't stop that."

Animatictober Day 6: Thumbnails 100% This half of the thumbnails has the ideas that I feel will make or break me this month. There's a couple things I could do for a few shots so we'll see where I'll end up. #animatictober #thumbnailsketch

A collection of thumbnail sketches numbered 25-48. They are of sketches of 4 people in a car.

Animatictober Day 4: Plan the Story The setting is both very simple and complicated since its going to be 85% inside of a car. But this means I have to draw car. There's also going to be one scene focused on a highway. #animatictober #backgrounddesign #sketches

A collection of thumbnail sketches. Most are focused on the interior of a car while are couple are outside of a car.

It almost makes me want to do another Mad Ones animatic in the future to utilize her design more. (also I remembered to actually make this a whole thread so rip to day 1 that's going to be solo)

Animatictober Day 3: Make Characters Time for the fun part of planning my cast of characters. Sam is the most important since she's going to be in basically every scene and is the main character. I definitely had the most fun exploring Kelly. #characterdesign #animatictober

Animatictober Day 1: Pick a Song. Been awhile since I participated in a proper October challenge. This year I decided to participate in redlet.puppet's (ig user) #Animatictober! I had 3 potential songs I was considering so I included all 3 sketch pages. #sketchbook #brainstorm

Also the t-shirt design challenge I've been promoting the past month and half concluded on Monday. I managed to get 17 shirt sells which was really great. I know majority of my sales were from family and friends which I'm very grateful but also for anyone I don't know who decided to support me!

This image has drawing of two girls wearing an identical tshirt. The text reflects the text of the post.

Had a bit of decision paralysis and ended up doing a simple drawing for this week. I've been wanting to do another drawing where the background color matched part of the character. Vance got to be the subject of this practice. #OC #linelessart

I really had to think this over to not just pick my faves. (Although my favorite is included but I think it still fits here) Majority of these are from my early days of watching anime.

I saw Maybe Happy Ending the other night and I loved the pose the actors did during "Then I Can Let You Go" and just knew I had to draw my OCs in it. Here's two of my couples that I could imagine would attempt the pose, Jaime & LJ and Crystal & Mason. This was a lot of fun to draw. #ocs #digitalart

HUMAN ARTISTS, use only one piece to convince people to follow you Even when this post underperformed, it’s still one of my favorites

Portrait of Eevee surrounded by its evolutions. Eevee puts its paw on Leafeon as a sweat drop descends from his head. Glaceon puts its front paws over its head while Flareon is behind Eevee. Umbreon who is behind Flareon smiles as Espeon is pushed by Glaceon. Sylveon is in the top middle. Jolteon and Vaporeon are sad as they aren’t close to Eevee.

Last week, I was unintentionally inspired to do lineless art after watching an anime opening with some real nice lineless art. I'm watching the show with a friend and she totally clocked it and asked me about it. I was like "oh snap, you're right."

Did some lineless art last week and decided a round two was in order. I wanted to play with some lighting. I used to do lineless art so much but don't do it as much any more in the interest of speed so it's nice to slow down and do some lineless art. #oc #digitalart #angel #linelessart
