Here you can see an artifact created by a 3-d anaglyph effect I used while making my last post. Its on the right side of the image and appears as a vertical line where there is a sudden shift in the brightness of the noise #digitalart #anaglyph

Yeah its cool how much emotion just a few swathes of color can carry!

The blue does represent that, the image is intended to mock the color palette frequently reproduced by the ghibli ai image generators, which create warm earthy images (quite unlike the color palettes of their actual films)

Would bluesky be interested in collections of rough sketches or should I keep them to myself? #art #blueskyart #sketches #sketchbook

This particular image is also not the finished version but an interesting looking intermediate, I used a bunch of fractal images collected from the mandelbrot to create the small details

Its not an ai generated but did involve a different sort of ai technology. This was made back in 2017 as a digital collage were I experimented with using google deepstyle match. The idea was to photoshop bear furs around a selfie and stylematch it to itself to get better flow at the edges.

Way back an editing program I wad using glitched out and made an interesting pattern. I’ve taken that and upscaled it and added some detail to bring it up to the same standards as my recent works. #digitalart #glitchart #abstract #art

Latest piece. Cobbled together from many pages of sketchbook scribbles, and messed with until the formed elements themselves became the negative spaces. #art #digitalart #abstract #abstractart #psychedelicart #trippyart

This is the first piece I made that I was truly satisfied with. I utilized pixel sorting and digital collage to create it back in 2017. #art #digitalart #abstract #surealism #glitchart #pixelsorting

If you rehydrate its important to remove crustacean nauplii so they dont develop into copepods and eat your other animals before you see them

For permanent habitats many rotifers are early season (not all) and get displaced by crustaceans later on. You can rehydrate sediments with di water to catch them as well, i checkeveryday and you get some protists after one day, rotifers after a day or two some species take weeks to hatch.

Yeah! I research rotifers but have experience with other plankton. A good small mesh plankton net will take you far. You can use a small piece of filter mesh for rock pools and tree holes. Usually the best time for rotifers is a few days after filling for temp habitats

The best keys are in the continental waters of the world volumes regarding rotifers, however not every family has been covered in these.

There are several good books for rotifers in particular, however they are all out of print and massively hard to find. There is a website, the rotifer world catalogue that is comprehensive and has up to date names, however it is often down.
