If someone asks you not to post something with their voice in it, you don't and keep it to the server at most. This was not followed even after multiple members of the community made it clear they were uncomfortable, so they got removed. See the statement how you like, doesn't change their actions.

If you want to add AC at fault then fine, but even after being asked to not be release stuff that made other creators uncomfortable they didn't stop and made up lies about being cast out when it was because of breaking rules and that refusal to adhere to wishes of privacy that got them removed.

The rule for recording was it was done by a bot in the server and anything else should be disclosed, this was made clear at the start of the townhall, they failed to disclose anything until after. They are at fault here and still hurt creators both by recording and refusing to back down.

Because those people wanted an official statement and want this to be over. Currently someone has recorded their voice without permission, broke server rules, made up lies about being "turned on" when they hurt creators and doubled down on it. This isn't PR, this is clearing up their lies.

It was prefaced by members before hand as well as made clear multiple times during the townhall meeting that some people didn't want their voice present in anything outside of just the server. They went explicitly against that and therefore the server rules and got kicked it's purely their own fault

This was the line. I can promise you I took notes for the townhall meeting and was very invested in it since announcement. This was always the plan and them refusing to back down and understand that creators felt betrayed by their actions only caused more damage, not help the community.

They did not "turtle up", it was meant to be kept only for server members who couldn't arrive with many speakers not consenting to their voice being shared outside the server. If it would be shared later those people would have to be edited out first, not streamed without consent.
