For more context about where to find the kobold... I was near Godzilla and a short ways behind @cactusbat.bsky.social.

It was wonderful to meet you and nerd out about monster avatars and wing rigging at the VR meetup! I am glad that you had a wonderful time! Thank you so much for coming to AWU!

So #anthroweekendutah may be over but the #AWU experience was an absolute blast! Special thanks to everyone that came out for the Is It A Dragon live show and the other meetups I ran at the con! Spent time with wonderful people, made some new friends, and overall had a wonderful time!

A group of anthropomorphic creatures stand in a panel room. From left to right a kobold with half orange and half blue coloration, a green and yellow kobold, a blue and white kobold, a blue and red dragon, a grey wolf, a large blue dragon, a raccoon hybrid, and another blue dragon. The names from left to right are Eecheego, Ollie, Gola, Dragnor, Shaman, Samson, Zeiren, and Gelum. Not pictured is Sparks the Pegasus who was running audio.

Hey @gigabytefox.bsky.social I haven’t heard anything yet relating to food allergy accommodation from @anthroweekendutah.org for AWU. Are there any updates that you can share? Just trying to make sure this doesn’t fall off your radar. I know you’re busy getting ready for the con!

There are always free samples of yip yap juice available for prospective kobolds!

Much appreciated. I know I have spoken to several people who have similar allergies and similar concerns. On behalf of all of us we appreciate your consideration in this regard.

Yeah I’m hoping so. It’s not too difficult of a problem to solve. I just want to make sure they’re aware that there is a potential issue.

Droakir aka "Ollie" the Kobold @droakir.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

They offer vegetarian options. But peanut allergies are incredibly dangerous. HUGE risk of cross contamination in a buffet style setup. Issue can be mitigated with planning and a separate table for the allergen free foods. I know I’m not the only Alpha level sponsor with a severe peanut allergy.

I’m excited to be able to attend #AWU2026 this year but I have a question for @anthroweekendutah.org. Does AWU have any alternative food options for those of us Alpha level sponsors with severe peanut allergies? The menu was posted and many of the buffet banquet food options are all peanut based.

It’s a ritual. Anyone caught in the cyclone becomes a kobold too.

Just wait ‘till they all start spinning like helicopters!

It is a lovely golden pyramid built on dragon treasure and the fact you can always settle up by having the kobolds you convert— erm… “recruit” help you with your payment.

Droakir aka "Ollie" the Kobold @droakir.bsky.social · 22/06/2026

Indeed! And if you want to be a kobold too… well… here! Have this totally not magic potion!

Droakir aka "Ollie" the Kobold @droakir.bsky.social · 22/06/2026

Mmhmm! I’m just lucky I keep one in the bathroom. Otherwise reaching the door knob would have been a bit of a chore.

It’s true! But that minty freshness of becoming a kobold is one of the best experiences one can have!

Yip yip! It’s true! I have Yip Yap Juice to help make all the almost kobolds into kobolds! Want some?

Quite true. I imagine someone with a heavily complex piece of machinery kicking it and a tiny hatch opens with a kobold head poking out. “Don’t worry boss we’re already on it!”

Scavenging, searching, repairing. Be it a scrappy future or a pristine one there will always be kobolds somewhere under the surface tinkering.

Droakir aka "Ollie" the Kobold @droakir.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

Well you’d better get used to it, yip yap. Because now you’re in one.

Another day another scavenging job. Just a typical morning for two kobolds in the post-apocalyptic future. Featuring the kobolds Gola (@golawaya.bsky.social) and Ollie (@droakir.bsky.social). First art of the new year! #kobold #furryart #scalie #scalieart #dragon #furry #comicart #illustration

Two kobolds dressed in post-apocalyptic outfits search an abandoned industrial structure. The kobold on the left carries an oversized wrench and has blue scales. They wear a jumpsuit with leather bracers and shoulder pads as they appear to be talking to their companion with one hand on their hip. To the right a green and yellow scaled kobold wearing a brown leather jacket and leather cap with goggles shines a flashlight up at the ceiling while they talk, shrugging. The light from the flashlight illuminates the kobolds in a soft yellow glow.

Just a kind of "oh... um... How extensive are these changes? And do I need to buy a new collection of hats?"

A portrait I did of my raccoon girl Kate. She's a barista at a coffee shop and I often play as her in VR. The name of the coffee shop? Kate's Café. #furryart

An anthropomorphic raccoon smiles at the camera. She has blond fur pulled back in a ponytail and wears a dark green bandana. Her green eyes sparkle.

Saw some folks playing that new FNAF game, and it reminded me that I did this fan character and hadn't shared it. Love the Security Breach 80's styling with neon and vibrant colors! Also, animatronics are fun.

A peacock animatronic in bright vibrant colors in the style of FNAF Security Breach stands ready. The text "Jazzi" in cheesy 80's neon illuminates the scene.

@cawstic.bsky.social such an incredible set that I had to catch it three times and bring my friends! I am now a convert to Dark Bass!

A glossy latex rubber corvid dances to the dark bass of its people.
