Some studies (from both UK and Netherlands) have shown that the leading cause of facial palsy in children is Lyme disease. Not enough paediatricians are aware. Please share.

UK tick surveillance relies heavily on people sending ticks to the Tick Surveillance Scheme (TSS)👇. Vets perhaps best-placed to do this (check submission form - ask the right questions of pet owners) but everyone can contribute. Don’t go looking for ticks but if a tick finds you send it to the TSS.
