Did you know that the human civilization's first artifact is a skeleton with evidence of a healed broken leg? It is considered the earliest proof of human civilization, because it means that the person was injured but was still able to survive through the care of healers. #NationalDoctorsDay

It's not helpful to shame people with #autism or their families. Comments such as “autism destroys families” have been received in sharply divisive ways. On 'AirWaves', I am sharing how the #HHS can be effective in helping families manage autism: bit.ly/3Fdxokz

Some of the biggest breakthroughs in medical science came from women unafraid to enter #STEM spaces. I'm proud of the women who came before me, so I can be who I am professionally, and I look forward to seeing what the next generation can achieve. Happy #InternationalWomensDay.

This is a picture of my son taken soon after he was born. I suffered from a very rare pregnancy complication. But thanks to physicians at the University of Michigan and a lot of US funded research, he was born healthy. Please post, who has Science Saved for you? #WhoScienceSaves #MedSky
