I am filled with gratitude for every single person who has supported our campaign—the neighbors who put up our signs, the supporters who hosted our events, and the community members who believed in our message and spent their winter, spring, and summer helping us knock doors. Everything we built in this race was built together with you.

I have always promised the voters of this district that I would do what is right, even when it’s hard. In the final days of this race, the most important thing I can do is help ensure the Sixth District is represented by someone who will fight for our progressive values. That is what I am choosing to do today."
