Doc's on her back-collecting nonsense again! This time, its a nice simple little fella; one of the hidden gems of RID2001...or is it Machine Wars...or does it count as G2? Whatever; its just cool. Review #197: RID2001 Tow Line - OUT NOW! youtu.be/vevZF-ENM78

Don't forget, a brand new review on RID Tow Line drops tomorrow. The original. The classic. The excellence. Be there, or watch your car get towed. Don't have a car? Well...someone's car will be.

More wreckers please. Seriously...I crave my fix. Where's thunderclash already? Does machine wars Starscream have to sell well to justify machine wars Optimus to justify thunderclash?

Started editing the Legiondary Marathon today. Only got one mini review episode done, but...it's actually happening...after all this time...hell yeah...

Streams will continue until insanity improves. We're probably going to finish Transformers Devastation next stream, so make sure to pencil it out in your calendar. All streams now over on Twitch, so make the jump!

Tow Line review was FINALLY approved. So, we're all set to go. Early Access up now, General Release this Sunday. See y'all there. (Also with daylight savings, the timing may be a little different.) www.patreon.com/drlockdown/p...

Part of me wishes they did have Arcee in the 2007 movie. Not only would it have been really cool, but think of the updates to this toy we would've had years later. ...though...part of me doesn't...given she'd probably get killed off...

Okay, RID Tow Line is 100% done now. Doesn't need any more tweaking or anything. All done. Final pass and everything, save for some shots a friend is sending me. Just waiting on sponsor approval and it'll be up for Early Access.

Getting towards the end of the year, so got a MASSIVE updating the plans for the next three months. This includes future reviews, the success of Dr Wu Devastator, future Livestreams and...a certain...marathon? What on earth could that be? Big wall of text ahead. www.patreon.com/drlockdown/p...

RID2001 Tow Line has finished filming, and thus the second Preview Gallery is up. Also finished the audio. Short one. ACTUALLY only fifteen minutes this time. Might finish it tonight. We'll see. www.patreon.com/drlockdown/p...

LIVE NOW ON TWITCH! For some bizzare reason, the multicast thing (which worked perfectly yesterday) failed miserably today. So I'll ONLY BE STREAMING ON TWITCH! HEAD ON OVER NOW!

Don't forget, tomorrow Dr Streamdown returns with a brand new Transformers Devastation stream. I actually got it working this time! Somehow! Find me on Twitch for a whole new streaming chapter.

How small can you go? How compact can you make things. Can things even remain that fun? Many folks have taken to criticising the jank of this release...but I can't help but feel they're missing the entire point. Review #196: Dr Wu Cyber Hercules (Devastator) - OUT NOW! youtu.be/sX1rH8Vz3T0

Finally finished the last pass on Dr Wu Devastator. Should go live in five hours. A quick note; how this video does will determine whether I do more Legends stuff throughout the year, instead of just in December. I want to do more, but I'm just not sure there's an audience.

DrLockdown @drlockdown.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Still working on the final pass of Dr Wu Devastator, but in the meantime, here's what's going down next week. The first Preview Gallery for Episode 197 is up, covering RID2001 Tow Line. Yep. The OG. The GOAT. Getting this done early because it needs approval first www.patreon.com/drlockdown/p...

Early Access is up for the Dr Wu Devastator review. Wasn't able to do the final graphics; had a work emergency to attend to today and couldn't do the final pass, but it'll be done for Sunday's upload with no issues whatsoever. For now, enjoy. www.patreon.com/drlockdown/p...

Going to be finishing the editing on Dr Wu Devastator and filming another review in tandem tomorrow. Schedule kinda calls for it, so I may be cutting it close on both, but both need doing. Glad I took an extra week on Devy. its a BEEFY video.

Been off dealing with family stuff, but I've got some great news. Firstly, a big (not really) annual project is coming back, and is now about 80% filmed. Secondly. In a word. Thrash's sister. Whatever could that mean? Hmmm.

My honey bought a 3D printer. We tested it on a random legends Optimus prime I found on one of the file websites (it's on hir computer, not mine, so I don't have the link). I kinda wanna print more legends stuff now. Might buy some filament to use.

Definitely warming up to Liokaiser, but he's still a little bit underwhelming IMO. Still unsure on my rankings, but he's definitely above Victory Saber, which is a plus. Still wish they'd done him more like SS86 Devastator. The legs feel the most undercooked.

Does this count as an addiction? Whenever I have eggs, I seem to just make poached each time, mostly because muscle memory. And I get picky when I eat poached eggs out for the same reason, because I can just make them at home. I can stop whenever I want.

Okay, locking in the schedule for October...well, most of it anyway. There's one little bit that's uncertain, but enough is in motion where I can solidly lay out some plans. Dr Wu Devastator is still coming, and some other projects are also in the pipeline. Soon. www.patreon.com/drlockdown/p...

Video may have been pushed back, but in the meantime, a new Preview Gallery is up for viewing on it. I wasn't exaggerating when I said I smashed out 519 shots yesterday; probably one of the biggest filming sessions I've done in a long time. www.patreon.com/drlockdown/p...

0332

DrLockdown @drlockdown.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

A full day and 519 shots later, and its just not coming together. I tried, but its looking like a super complex review that's close to an hour in runtime, and the five weeks of 'defacto managing' at work have taken their toll. Dr Wu Devastator will now release on 04/10.

1253

DrLockdown @drlockdown.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Went and saw the 86 Movie rerun last night. In spite of all SS86's nonsense, the film remains just as amazing as it always has been. A true delight, especially on the big screen. Unsure about the short tho. Feels like its...not quite there. Animation was beautiful tho.

Big thanks to everyone who tuned in for the Siege Shockwave review. Was worried it would bomb, but its done reasonably well (even with Youtube counting views differently). Started recording the next review. Its a much bigger one than the last two; something...green...and poiple.

Finally chucked most of my KOs on Ebay. Not the ones I still hold sentinemtal value for (or the ones that are actually good), but it still feels like the end of an era. I know the kind of collector (and person) I want to be now, and hopefully someone else will like these more.

DrLockdown @drlockdown.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

First impressions are...okay. Maybe I've had a rough day, but this is the first time one of these hasn't felt like a 'Haslab'. This feels like a continuation of the POTP Predaking more than a premium limited-time box set. A fun and okay figure, but probs the weakest Haslab.
