I'm arguing in general. A filing system cannot do it's job if you don't file things properly. Doesn't matter if it's kink, normalized, or otherwise. You -need- these tags to file properly. Otherwise, to make a parallel, you get things like home loans mixed with dental records. That's all.

And that's where you're wrong. FA has blacklisting, so your entire argument is moot. The point of tags is to ensure that content can be curated. It's not punishing people to put three words or more in, that's just people being lazy. I for one have standards.

No, it does not. If you're a rational adult, capable of cognitive thinking, you can see how the lack of tags forced this issue, and the prevailing reason is because people refused to be responsible adults and add tags to their submissions. They're too busy farming likes and engagement.
