I'm still salty about the sparseness of entomological terms in Spelling Bee!

NYT Spelling Bee with the word ACRIDID spelled out. It's a generic term for a member of the grasshopper family. I'm complaining (tongue-in-cheek, of course) that taxonomic terms aren't usually accepted, although APID (bees) and CANID (dogs) are!
