The first week of the the “Greatest Elective on Earth”, Culinary Medicine, was a success despite the weather. Students did a recipe creation activity (salmon burgers), cooked low carb, and learned about the Four Pastas of Rome. We also launched our “Dishes Important to Place” activity.

My favorite class of Wake Forest University School of Medicine’s Doctors in the Kitchen- VEGGIE NIGHT! Three different vegetables cooked three different ways. While we normally don’t endorse the Clean Plate Club, we do when it’s veggies. It means you did something right.
