One of my favourite use-cases for AI is to generate ALT-Text for images that I post on the web. Claude does an excellent job of analysing images. Check out the Alt-Text for the image below. It's Alt-Text all the way down.

Screenshot of a conversation interface showing an image of black kitchen utensils and a text exchange. The top portion contains the original image of six black silicone utensils. Below is a user message asking for alt text, followed by Claude's response describing the utensils. The interface includes a copy button, retry button, and thumbs up/down feedback options. A decorative orange asterisk icon appears in the bottom left corner, with a note about Claude's potential mistakes at the bottom.

Amazing session today with the School of Communications and Arts at University of Queensland. Our session was in the old Customs House building. Fancy!

Flying to Brisbane this morning for a workshop with University of Queensland. I always seem to struggle sleeping the night before I travel. Last night was no exception. Tips on how to combat the inability to sleep are welcomed.

Screenshot of my Health App showing I only managed 2 hours and 21 minutes of sleep.

What better soundtrack to help me imagine all the admin I'm doing today is more *exciting* than it really is?

Of all the dumb ways to waste $115, getting a parking ticket would have to be the most infuriating.

Not ‘academic’ but I was careful to get it right. This is the result of overthinking and measuring carefully. New drop-down table for the Jeep - and it’s bloody level as f*** Who said academia doesn’t translate to ‘real world’ skills?!?
