Stephen Driver @driverozarkwabi.bsky.social · 19/10/2025This is a sculpture that I made in 2013 that, due to my lack of experience with large scale outdoor sculpture, had to be re built from the inside out. Much better now as good as when it was first completed 030

Stephen Driver @driverozarkwabi.bsky.social · 08/02/2025Sustainable clay mixing. For the past 10 years this is how I make my clay. I got rid of my large pug mill and started mixing up my clay in plastic garbage cans and then put the slurry into used blue jeans. I operate my studio with solar generated electricity-very low carbon footprint-visually fun 060

Stephen Driver @driverozarkwabi.bsky.social · 03/02/2025Most people might not know that in his last few years Micheal Simon had a few of his most recognizable forms cast in bronze. Bronze Persian jars form in foreground. Ceramic platter in background. Jan. 2018, Athens, Ga. One of the last one on one visits I had with Michael. #ozarkwabimoment 170
Stephen Driver @driverozarkwabi.bsky.social · 03/02/2025Yes, a lot of bloating is caused by organic matter in the clay. Easily solved by soaking your bisque for 30min- hour. Results vary according to clay body and the glaze firing. Could also reduce pin holing 000
