Managed to get all the deck elements missions done for the #PokemonTCGPocket pvp event! Deck with 8 normals was pretty hard but I got it done with this dumb one, and while I was matched against a top500 player with meta Miraidon!

Especially when the far right is actively on the rise, whose members are by far the strongest antisemitic force in the country, who are using this conflation to truly hurt jewish lifes. But that gets thrown out of the conversation if you dare speak out against Netanyahus borderline fascist actions

Optimus Prime's voice actor Peter Cullen's death hits hard like few others. I wrote a little about it, how he impacted me. Rest in Peace Peter.

Transformers and Optimus Prime have been with me for my whole life. I grew up watching random episodes of the show on cassette, made my mom get up early Saturday mornings to turn on TF: Cybertron, was in the cinema for every big movie release, spend my first saved pocket money on a figure of Optimus, still do to this day. I had a great friend send me the Blokees Prime OP from England thanks to an early release, I have yet to build him up.

He is, and always was, my favorite character. His ideals formed me, he was the father figure I wish I had irl.
And, he was one of my first English experiences, thanks to a DVD re-release of the 86 movie my aunt gifted me which only had English audio.
Having started to consume my media mainly in English, I had grown very fond of Peter Cullen too.

The way he gave Optimus his voice was so great to me, and the meaning he gave to it really got to me. A good chunk of the views of the TFCon interview, where he speaks about his brother Larry, must've come from me. "Be strong enough to be gentle" has been a core ideal of mine thanks to them.
Few other characters have been as connected to the original VAs performance as Optimus for so long. In a world with so many big manly action guys, having a leader figure that showed strength not only through depictions of power, but of kindness and gentleness too, is special, and at least part of that came from Cullen himself.

His death hits hard, but his legacy and morals will live on for a long, long time, as will Optimus Prime, forever formed by him. And I will be forever a fan of them both, the fictional character and the real voice actor.

Thank you Peter Cullen.
Rest in peace.

Sad to see the Terraria Calamity Mod end like this. Understandably so of course, why is it so hard for some to not groom kids or be an asshole... But I'm sad for all the passionate devs, who were not part of that, and just did their best to create such an amazing experience. Thank you for your work!

The Boys ended today after almost 7 years! The finale to me was okay, not amazing but also not as terrible as some would make you believe, it was just good and I think that's fine. Overall the show was great, and I rly enjoyed tuning in over the years, okay-ish ending or no!
