'tis the season of art prompt lists. i made my own list for OC-tober this year! 🎨 have fun with it. feel free to do as much or as little as you want, repeat the same prompts multiple times, combine with other lists, whatever is fun for you! #OC-tober #OC-tober2026 #OCsky

TITLE: OC-Tober Art Prompts
Description: it's OC-tober, the perfect excuse to spend the whole month drawing your
original characters. you can approach these prompts with whatever degree
of seriousness and effort you want. this isn't a legally binding list of obligations,
it's just ideas to get the gears turning!
the list: • finish an unfinished piece (maybe even more than one)
• design a new character, or finish an unfinished design
• rework a character design that needs some polish
• design a movie poster or a magazine cover
• draw a single-page comic or short storyboard
• draw your OCs in an alternate universe
• draw your OCs in another art style
• find a blank art meme/challenge to do
• draw something you find difficult, using your OC
• draw an OC at a different age than you usually do
• redraw a scene from a movie or TV show with OCs
• draw an OC cosplaying one of the characters that
inspired their design
• redraw a childhood drawing of an OC
• draw two OCs interacting who you haven't before
• play with alternate color palettes
Footnote: re-interpret however you want or combine with other lists! the only
rules are have fun, take care of your wrists, and don't use AI.

They can be mixed and matched, the DMG and PHB for SF2e discourages allowing gunslinger or alchemist on the grounds that everyone's slinging guns and I can't remember why alchemist was discouraged, and as mentioned, some PF stuff is a little weaker, but can ultimately even out as the gap isn't huge.

Belated pic for big boobs day, ran out of time and braingth, also having a wretched time getting this to post, so here's a pic of Laa Teedo doing a beeg stretch while waking up!

A comically busty lurmen lady bending in a jackknife pose and stretching on all fours plus tail like a cat with tail propping her up like a 5th limb

Never broke double digits, and most of the other stuff I posted was 2 minute ms paint mockups, so by default, my star wars lurmen gal, Laa Teedo.

Comically ample lurmen lady suspending a star wars themed DG-20 Casio synth guitar in a sorta Tina Turner pose with arm over her head and tail sticking out, up, and around to hold the guitar straps.

More or less the purpose of intersectionality is to find common ground and band together against discrimination and oppression and fight for one another in the shared struggle against oppressive systems in general.

What exactly do you gain from telling someone who's first nations "if you don't like it, leave it" about their ancestral home they had stolen from them? You're certainly devoid of empathy or scruples or even deeper political understanding of even modern Germany.

Need to light the fire to do and create under my butt analogue and work on art. Thought to myself "Self, maybe a dumb social media post might help with that" and hopefully future self has a good reply.

Draw em anyway if you enjoy doing so, and art teacher mode: if critics don't like your work, do your best to make them LOATHE it.

At last measure, Twitter was something like 74.6% of all twitter users still there are bots, what's left seems to be mostly foreign posters who haven't got the memo to switch elsewhere, bigots, companies who for some reason are obligated to remain, or doofuses who think the replies are genuine.

let's try and turn this morally neutral thing people do in the office into a morality question, and dilbert or the new guy (usually a minority) fixes everything by being competent and not letting his coworkers fail (2/2)

Also puts the 5 jokes the strip had into perspective: lazy employees end up overcomplicating things, we're adopting a bad behavior to annoy a coworker or higher up, we're going to lie to the manager's face to make them happy, (1/2)

With all the talk of Scott Adams, always wild to consider he thought of the boss as the hero of his comic strip and Dilbert the villain, and how maddening it must've been to him knowing people relate more to Dilbert than The Boss.
