Totally agree. We really should be protecting people not treating like cattle to quarantine. But we also have to recognize that our justice system was not created for actually protecting people, rather it was created to put non-“white” people in their place. The whole system needs to be scrapped.

Epidemiology must be what I call consequential - it has to directly impact the people/animals/environment and the vast majority does. Epi is who got sick, why, and how we can keep it from happening again. We use that knowledge so you rarely see the public health ninjas (hi food fortification!).

On the advice of my writing coach, I’m reverting to an hourly planner (Take A Note Slim Weekly) for a few weeks to see if I can better use my time. Still using my BK Jiyu weekly and my Traveler’s Company monthly. Also have this great MD notebook as a backup/scratch notebook.
