For me, it was watching Star Trek and Star Wars when I was really young. My dad and brother were really into it, and they regularly went to conventions. After that, it was the other fans, finding people that enjoyed the genre as much as I did. #SFPit

Sci-fi has always been that universe (and multiverse) of the finite and infinite for me. Giving us the ability to examine ourselves in a scope, but allowing us to expand beyond the scope. It lets me be realistic while I'm dreaming, all in the same brush stroke.

Since I set a smaller goal for myself (at least 350 words a day) I've been more consistently writing. This has really helped me get back into the headspace of the story and the MC. It might not be more, but it is so much better than none.

So A Fracture Within was written under the first-person POV of one specific person, Jimmy. However, in writing book two (The Shattered Divide), I think I am going to provide different POVs.

Seriously. The amount of bots, scammers, and just plain off folks is getting ridiculous. Every 5 or so folks I follow back end up getting immediately blocked because they're trying to sell me stuff, get me involved in crypto, or they know the lizard-people...make it stop.

I've been considering opening myself up to performing weddings. Folks out there (especially LGTBQ+ folks) who look different, act a little different, and are different can struggle to find the right officiant for their wedding. It would be a worthy use of my credentials.
