Alvin took advantage of a quiet evening to focus on urgent files his boss had asked him to handle as soon as possible. He still found it hard to believe that he had been in a relationship with Marcus for a year and a half now. Marcus: Good evening, love, I'm home! I thought I'd find you in bed. What are you doing up so late?

Alvin: I've almost finished this file, and it's not that late, it's only 1:00 AM! I was too focused on work; I wanted to finish as quickly as possible. And how did work go for you?

Marcus: It was a quiet evening, but it's often the evenings when nothing's happening that are the most tiring. So, since I was on a shift, I was able to leave early and let the others handle closing time. (Marcus grabbed a cold beer from the fridge and sat down on the couch next to Alvin.
