My Chemical Romance - Soldier Field 8/29/25 What an unbelievable and unforgettable night. Long Live the Black Parade, featuring surprise guest Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins.

Turns out the real black parade was the friends we made along the (Mikey) way. AKA the mass exodus of fans dressed head to toe in black exiting into downtown Chicago.

Pulled into work and went to get out of my car… … but then Sugar, We’re Goin Down came on.

Death Stranding 2 in the books. Much improved over the first game. It’s got its quirks, it’s jank, and moments you really need to turn your brain off for, but overall I was very satisfied by the time credits rolled. Pretty good game.

Gatekeepy hot take of the day: Bands should not post tour merch on their web store before a tour has even started. If you’re nice, just post the remnants after the tour ends.

We’re Fantastic Four bound, and our contrast couldn’t be more stark. Marvel Hawaiian shirt and Spider-Man shoes vs the black dress with the tights underneath. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Finished July’s book of the month today. Superman Smashes the Klan. Since the film was coming out, I figured a Superman book oughta do, and there was no better choice than this Eisner Award-winning adaptation from @geneluenyang.bsky.social

Just got home from seeing Superman in IMAX. A very interesting film that I doubt could live up to anyone’s expectations. But man, I love it when that James Gunn guy moves the camera around.

Ok, let’s try this again…

Better late than never… Venom War was my latest read of 2025. A fun, venomized popcorn comic with a bit of wrestling sprinkled in. So, in other words, it was kind of tailor made for me.

Finished Mark’s book tonight. What a great read. I’d say it’s a must-read for any blink fan. Now… time to circle back around to finishing Travis’ book! I wasn’t much of a reader back then, but I’m sure my wife’ll be happy, since it was… kind of a wedding present.

Well, I finished vol 1 of Criminal. It was so good, I immediately went out and got the deluxe edition so I could not only add it to the shelf, but start reading the next 2 vols (included) as well.

My wife hasn’t used her Apple Watch in a year, so I asked if I could start using it. You know I had to put the Swatch straight edge X watch face on there immediately. ❌❌❌
