I've always envisioned my own manufacturing facilities so that I can offer local workers thriving wages and the best place in town to make a lifetime career. That's my goal, that's my dream, but it takes steps like outsourcing manufacturing and importing to fund getting there organically.

More hurtful than the cost increase is the cashflow impact. I went from ~3% of COGS at port of entry to 28% with T's first +25% (many folks thought it was 3%*1.25, not 3+25=28%, & that was at the same time ocean freight went from ~$6k-$30k. ~$7500 landed to $35k+ per 40HC due before any sales.

I love it! They tried so hard with copywriting to appeal to young outdoor enthusiasts. As soon as I said "all you have to do is can it", the whole room agreed. Denver was a leading market for canning craft beer then. It's more shelf-stable and lighter weight, so way easier to pack-in pack-out!

Love seeing #Pacifico #beer all over #XGamesAspen2025. Denver ~2015 I worked with Pacifico to compete with Bud Miller Coors as an outdoor adventurist's beer. As a glass-bottled only beer back then, I told them none of their new marketing strategies would help. Canning Pacifico was my idea.
