You cannot charge for mods. It's just that simple. They're using an existing IP, that they do not own, to make money. If it's a community project just for fun, released for free, that's one thing. The cyberpunk VR mod from Luke Ross (a mod that I loved) had the same issue with cdpr.

Key cards are better than nothing given they do function offline once installed and have actual resale value. That being said, I am about 10x as likely to purchase a game on switch as opposed to steam/ps if that game is on a cartridge in its entirety. I'll even double-dip in some cases.

I think thats why I'm so easily pleased with my steam library via steam deck. I can play essentially anything from that gen at 60fps on a handheld anywhere I want. Another new game could never release and I'd be fine lol

It is my favorite comedy of all time. Patty Considine as the guy with the like 12th most screen time is wild. Not a single line wasted for the whole runtime. Perfectly edited. Masterclass in comedic timing. Genuinely a perfect film.

Agreed. It's the thing im most excited for them to release. I don't mind it with quest 3 but the color accuracy kinda blows. Psvr2 is better in that regard but I'm convinced wasn't designed for a human face.

I'd argue that valve has 3 titles that could arguably be considered the pinnacle of their respective genres/subgenres. Linear narrative-driven FPS: HL2. 3D Puzzle: Portal 2 VR (period, like all of VR): Alyx (idk if that one is even arguable)

I can't believe im saying this but if there is ONE company that actually should do their own PC launcher, it's Sony. They'd circumvent the valve tax, integrate trophies/saves/chat, charge like 1.25x retail for a multi-plat version to encourage double dipping while they get to keep all of the revenue

It's certainly one of a kind. It's also deeply, deeply flawed imo. I love Alex Garland but this was the one project of the last 15 years that I don't think even he could tell you what the show's themes were supposed to be. And I'll never understand his fascination with Sonoya Mizuno as an actor.

I'm not a big fan of the narrative surrounding the thunder generally speaking bc it diminishes the fact they are genuinely an incredible and historic team. That being said, that sequence by Tony Brothers was DISGUSTING. It's not why they lost but if I'm a spurs fan I'd never shut up about it.
