So this heifer woke up on 🐂 💩 this morning I see. I’m not on hellscape anymore but I hope Black folks are giving her the business for asking such an asinine question. I mean, literally, pick up a factual history book. 🙄🙄😩

This book is going to be amazing! - Young Adult (I’m grown but the genre is still my favorite) - Centered around Lake Lanier - Hauntings Oh I’m there! And the cover art??? Chef’s kids! I went right ahead and got that pre-order in for October.

Y’all didn’t tell me that Taraji P. Henson has skincare and hair care lines at Walmart. One of my favorite content creators spilled the tea, though, and she said the body butter is a bop so I ran to snag some. There’s a body oil that’s highly rated as well.

Mattel is out here doing big things! First the autistic Barbie (which I think is great however folks were on a whole level of petty about it because they didn’t read the info release but we’ll talk about that later), and now …. honey …. the Dr. Opal Lee Barbie!! @prettykhemyst

He released it on Sunday. And folks are still out here talmbout Netflix needs to give him a special. He has said numerous times he doesn’t need Netflix; these types of views are the proof. He does his own specials the way he wants to and is doing MORE for himself than Netflix ever could.

I forgot to share this earlier. But listen, this was a good time. It was a livestream of tomorrow’s episode with a live chat and Erika, Kim, AND Yvette were up in there! But I was too busy listening to Yvette’s words of wisdom. This podcast is like none other. It was and is much needed.?

Ali Siddiq is one of my favorite comedians but let me say too that the man tries to talk sense into his fans and community. Every interview I’ve ever watched or heard with him he tries to uplift and encourage his people. This is just a snippet.

This may look just like a regular tree to you, but it’s not. Many Black folks lost their lives on this very tree which sits in front of the courthouse in my county. My mother told me stories, and I have seen depictions in county records and books about my county. And I have always just gotten 1/2

OMG! Come take them away!!! They’re literally just calories! If I ate the whole package (I’m not going to), I’d consume barely any sodium, sugar, fat, or carbs, but a bunch of calories. 😩😩

Went to the nearby state park today and bought some (beautiful) firewood bundles. I already took out four pieces from the bag in the left to burn tonight. Anyway, this is a great way to support the state (and national) parks if they happen to sell firewood. It’s $6 a bundle at the park near me.

Getting caught up. I knew when they said how they decided on the name of the podcast it was going to be good. They don’t disappoint. I don’t always agree with everything they say but that’s good. There’s 3 of them and they don’t even always agree with each other either. That’s how it should be.

The developers of this game definitely did their research into Black culture. This is a letter you’ll find (if you actually look for all of that stuff). I remember one day when I was younger and had cut my fingernails and I told my mother I was gonna throw them outside and she read me. This is why.

I knew when I saw the name Rufus and also “BBQ” on package that these were going to be a good time. They are so good! I don’t know HOW they got that sweetness of honey but a smoky BBQ taste at the same time on a peanut. Found at my favorite store the Dollar Tree. Gotta get some mo’!

My second Black woman spotlight goes to Nishan, owner of Good Plus Plenty Naturals. I’m a huge fan of Native deodorant. This is similar, but it’s a product of a Black female entrepreneur. I haven’t tried it yet but it’s on my list of items to order. Please go check out her site (link in photo).

I have been slacking on my celebration of Black women posts for Black Women’s History Month. I’m going to do 2 a day until I get caught up. First for today I want to introduce you to Mrs. Coco from Coco & Phillip. She & hubby Phil met about 10 years ago, bought an RV, & the rest is history. 1/2

@homeeduologywithdt.bsky.social I went to our favorite store today and when I was getting ready to check out I saw something that caught my eye. I knew it was Whitney Houston but I thought it was a candle. It’s a whole body spray and it’s legit! The company is a big thing and all.

I need to ban myself from TJ’s. I got a few snacks and other items that I went there for and I saw that there were only 2 packages of these left so I grabbed one because I figured they must be good if they were almost sold out. Oh these are beyond delicious. I can’t buy no mo. Nope.

I don’t know who at Trader Joe’s came up with the recipe and cooked these up but these taste more like pizza than any pizza chip I have ever had. I mean legit like a good ol’ cheese pizza.
