Hmmmmm... Will they be reprinting Codex in Mastery Pack Assassin? I'm kinda impatient and just wanna complete the second set.🤔 #fabtcg

5 copies (missing 1 card to complete 2 playsets) of the card Codex of Frailty, from the card game Flesh and Blood, the new classic TCG.

More like a Reddit/forum thing, I guess? It can be a bit overwhelming starting out, but it has dedicated channels for every hero in all formats. Best to go there if you've picked a hero/deck you'll be playing and want to discuss it with people all over the world.

Comp rules haven't change yet for Mentor. Hope it does tho, so Hala can mentor herself. That's self-empowerment haha.

Oh wow. GEM Packs as an avenue to downshift rarity? I'm just happy we get a 4-block. GEM Pack 6 opened by my locals from UNBOX: www.facebook.com/reel/1587970122867743 #fabtcg

I probably should set up a photo shoot with this lil dude again. Saved up some colorful dead flowers for him. I just need to plan things and find the time.

We have a local brand of deckbox that fits triple sleeves and minisnaps. In my case I even added a Dragon Shield Shell inside (so I can scoop out my double sleeved deck). It's smaller than an Academic too (which is a bit large for me).

4 PUMMELS, LET'S GO!

Drei @dreicortez.com · 04/07/2026

#fabtcg Nationals Side Event was a success! Just laughed and pummelled my way to a box of OMN (that I traded for a playset of Leave No Witnesses + cash). Silver Age Valda is fuuuunnnn.

#fabtcg National Championship Time. 0-2 drop on the main event. Moved to the side event for the high of getting the Year of the Snake Nuu Snatch (top 50 gets it). Let's go!

Goddamn, even the bling sold out after an hour or so. Wild.

It's one of the sickest art in the game and it's a shame that it has no microtext version. Hopefully a Marvel one soon. 👀 From www.artstation.com/artwork/oAYJKw

+1 for Wylie Beckert. Would probably fit a Misteria set.

Went 4-3 on Marionette in the #fabtcg Battlegrounds today. Pulled a Marvel Cindering Foresight and flipped it for (relatively) cheap since I needed cash. It was a good day. Aiming to shoot film tomorrow/soon with my shiny new camera (the reason why I need cash haha).

Still processing PT Yokohama/Japan vacation pics (what do you mean it's been a month?). The film scans came back at least, so here's a shy red panda from Nogeyama Zoo.

The Bladesaints of Davao illustration and wordmark I made got printed on some shirts and is in Calling Jakarta as well. 😊 #fabtcg

Hey that's my neighbor (and teammate) wearing the jacket I designed! The embroidery on the collar looks so good on camera. Again, www.blk101.com for #fabtcg cards. 🙂

As expected, 3 hours of sleep wasn't enough to play 9 rounds of Classic Constructed. Here's a photo of a pretty flower from Yamashita Park to remind me of the good times (earlier this morning).

Holy shit, pretty flowers look prettier under the early morning sun.

Drei @dreicortez.com · 10/04/2026

Good morning from Yokohama! Can I survive playing Flesh and Blood for a whole day on 3 hours of sleep? I guess we'll find out later! Waking up early to walk around while the sun rises seems worth it though.

The coins themselves aren't for sale (I only made two as proof of concept), but the files needed for engraving these onto a 4cm coin can be downloaded on shop.dreicortez.com (for free!). Feel free to share these with other people and do tag me if you ever engrave a coin with my design. 🙂

I was planning on adding tokens to these, but never had the time to develop those so I'm leaving this as just the resource coin so I can move on to other things.

These also include a prayer, an "orasyon", meant to be said aloud to enhance the talisman's powers — so I made one for it too (english translation in alt text).

Ode to The Archangels

Oh Light of Sol,
Oh Golden Blessing from the Heavens,
The light that shines upon us,
Will be the end of Darkness.

Suraya, Archangel of Erudition;
Guide us.

Aegis, Archangel of Protection;
Shield us.

Victoria, Archangel of Triumph;
Lead us to the path of victory.

Sekem, Archangel of Ravages;
Help us.

Bellona, Archangel of War;
Avenge us.

Avalon, Archangel of Rebirth;
Grant us a new beginning

Themis, Archangel of Judgement;
Hear us.

Metis, Archangel of Tenacity;
Strengthen us against evil.

Oh Light of Sol,
Oh Golden Blessing from the Heavens,
The light that shines upon us,
Will be the end of Darkness.

Amen

These agimat usually have latin phrases on them so I added relevant ones along with the archangels' names around them.

Photo showing the both sides of the Agimat ng Solana Coin with the latin phrases:

Requiem aeternam dona eis
Et lux perpetua luceat eis

(Grant them eternal rest
And let perpetual light shine upon them)

Post tenebras lux
(After darkness light)

Around "Post tenebras lux" are the archangels' names: Suraya, Aegis, Victoria, Sekem, Bellona, Avalon, Themis, and Metis.

The design is based on Filipino talismans, "agimat" or "anting-anting", which are believed to do various things like ward off evil spirits, remove hexes, and even deflect bullets!

Photo showing real agimat/anting-anting, the inspiration for the design on the coin.

"Manalangin tayo." Now that I'm on vacation (it's Holy Week here in the Philippines), I've finally finished this Prism-flavored FAB Resource Coin I started designing months age. This is now part of hyping myself up for Pro Tour Yokohama (because I want Prism to LL sooner, I guess?).

The Season Finale of 'You and I Are Polar Opposites' line up perfectly with my PT Yokohama 'prep'. Looking forward to walking around Chinatown and the Minato Mirai Area. I can already smell the sea breeze (and the xiaolongbao?). 😌

This pun on Hala's epithet has been stuck in my head since someone said it on the local Davao group chat. Took a few hours at turning it into a esports-ish emblem and wordmark. Long live the warriors of Davao! #fabtcg

So, my 'luck' kinda did 'run out' I guess. I'll rant about this somewhere, but for now it's a funny/absurd/sad story. #fabtcg
