iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

For the first time in a along time, I want to do nice things for myself and that makes me so happy

I can feel that lowness, that approaching spiral of self hate, and think: Ah that’s the depression talking and I don’t listen to that. And I’m not cured ofc but it’s more manageable by a long shot. I can be kinder to myself.

Kinda real, but realising I have depression, even though the thing that made me realise it was hard, has been completely eye opening. There was a horrible monster living in my head, but now I know it’s there and I can see it and see what it’s doing. I can uncouple it from myself.

blessed to have friends who are patient with my ghostly ass and don’t mind me dropping off the face of the earth for a bit before getting back to them ✨

Been doing a little sketching, tried an avali because they’re cute. Accidentally gave it an agumon vibe I think! #furry #furryart #avali #sketch

I doodled one but it definitely looks more like a dinosaur than some of the references I’ve seen, will probably post it later ✨

Not being a dang hermit is going to be the toughest battle of all, I’ve convinced myself that no one would ever wish to perceive me. Actual villain in my skull.

Been recovering from severe burnout from my last job and some life stress and I’ve realised that rest is great but I’m going to have to kick my own ass to really make progress. So that’s what I’ve been doing for the past month or so and it’s nice to see some noticeable improvement happening

Read through Madame Bovary this week and found it to be good but also made me feel very uncomfortable about my credit cards and love of shiny little things Really like old books that portray women in a more realistic light 👌

New friends ✨ Loved “rolly pollies” when I was a kid, thought they’d be a nice alternative to goldfish. These are chocolate zebra isopods, fingers crossed they’ll do okay

The chandelier could be raised all the way to the ceiling and then dropped again, which was a little scary 😂

It was sooooo good!! Wasn’t sure what to expect but loved every second of it. So many stage props and smart ways to flip perspective. ❤️❤️❤️

Is his outfit a bit overly textured? Maybe a little, but with intent. He’s a forest boy and his tunic is woven from grass and you can recognise that at a glance. Big fan ✨

Took me a minute to really vibe with the new Link renders, but I like them. Love that they kept the weird little betta fish mouth of the original. Looks great!

Been reading The Edge of the Sea by Rachel Carson and I’m like, grieving this woman. She wrote such achingly beautiful and intimate things about the seaside, in a way that only someone who loved it very deeply could. It hurts my little heart.

That’s insannnne but I’m glad it got sorted in the end. If I had more than one medication to take I know I’d be so anxious about it, well done managing it!!

Sorry to hear you’re going through it :( On nights when I can’t sleep and the hours are long, I grab a book to keep the thoughts at bay. If it’s a good book, it works like a charm. It’s turned into a nightly habit for me, keeps the spirals to a manageable level Hope things improve ❤️

Finished Lost World by Crichton. Actually really fun. Sarah Harding is a beast and carried the whole thing, big fan. Too bad she didn’t get to be all that in the movie? Also where the heck is Levine in the movie? Liked him a lot too. Get lost, Ian Malcolm, this is a Harding x Levine space
