we got a fresh scan of an old sketch of Trisha 🐶

a pencil sketch of an anthropomorphic dog character sniffing around on the floor, ass in the air and tail up. she dropped a nug!

decently sure I've never posted these here; a couple of oooold portrait commissions I did ages ago for a friend who was doing some streaming! 💚 💎 #digitalart #drawing #artcommission

A digital drawing of a woman in a grey, button-up cardigan with a large crystal formation covering half her face and hair that reaches just above her shoulders and is lightened at the tips. She is smiling contently at the viewer.

The same woman again, but in a brown, long-sleeved turtleneck; grinning and resting her hands on her hips in front of a rose bush with pale pink blooms, surrounded by crystals like the ones on her face. Her hair has grown longer, and is dyed purple, but is still much lighter at the tips.

IT’S DREAMSTATES DAY! 8 years ago today, we released our first half of our first album, “Parts One & Two”. The song “Limbo” is still a regular in our live show sets, and we thank everyone who’s been on this colorful journey with us! Here’s to the next 8 years! #TransMusic #MusicianSky

the lighting on Natalie's outfit in this shot... 😍💖

Natalie playing bass onstage at Anthrocon. The colorful lighting has cast everything in bright reds, pinks, and purples, and is lighting up the holographic parts of her outfit super brightly, almost as if they're glowing green, blue, purple, and pink.

the custom paint job Jasper did on Natalie's keytar is SO rainbow and glittery 🤩🌈💖

fun fact: even though band outfits change frequently, a lot of thought goes into them! these were some outfit concepts Jasper drew up while searching for clothes for Madeline and Natalie :)

Hey loves, we could really use some positivity over here...if our music has ever moved you, could you let us know by interacting with this post? Maybe share a song you like? So much negativity around trans folks rn, I'd love to know we're making some kind of difference, even if it's small. thx :)

"The Bringer" is from our 5th studio album, "Comets"! This track was, like nearly all songs on this album, written circa 2006 while I was in LA, with no lyrics, just a melody. I saw this album as a chance to "tie up loose ends" in my song vault, lol :) dreamstatesband.bandcamp.com/track/the-br...

I want to make a different kind of #trans #artshare. This will probably just flop unseen, but can I get a thread of trans MUSICIANS to drop links to your favorite album/music video/song? I'll follow-back and share as much as I can.

"Earth To Skye" is our only full-length instrumental piece! Featuring trombonist BJ Bishop and the best bass solo I've ever recorded, this is a recreation of a song I made when I lived in LA. It sat in my "unfinished songs" collection for over 10 years! Enjoy!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=8m9j...

Tonight's song is our double-time cover of "Madness" by Muse! We took the groove from George Michael's "Faith" and threw it in a blender with one of my favorite Muse songs, and this was the result! I really love how the guitar solo is done on a bass guitar! Enjoy! :) open.spotify.com/track/7wGWFJ...
