Atomic Ocean | The 5th eel, the Giver

We both swam into the zone that acted as the coral reef, that ive once read about, and anchient kind that is able to guide and aid thos in need, however its devoided of any color.

-why are we here? What is even the point, its too dangerous to be here anyway-

Before i could finish my sentance, Vincent placed a fin over my mouth and pointed twards a small hole in a rock wall, i chose not to question and follow him.

when we exited the tunnel into an larger cavern i saw it, the eel that was rummored to be killed back in the simpler days, before it all went down, however its still somehow breathing, even after having its lower body sliced in half. A lot of large black plancton is surounding her, prosumibly tending to her spilled organs as well as cleaning her body.

-i can seanse you travelers, what do you seak in my chamber?.

She spoke in a calm voice, but a kind that it vibrated my skelleton in a bad way. I looked back at Vincent and he simply nudged me to tell her what i need.

I swam up to the open maw, devoided of the bottom jaw, just like the stories told.

-ive came for assistance, my body is falling apart and i cant seam to find a cure for such thing... are-
i sighed and looked down
-are you able to plant me in your garden? So that i can rest peacefully without the world forgeting about me, ripping my carcass apart, and then leaving the rest to the starveing parade?.

The plankton uncovered her tired eye as she inspected me, indeed my body was pretty much half dead at this point, i bearly managed to swim here, let alone find this place without Vincents help, he didnt wanted to watch my vessel me destroyed by the world, we both wanted me to bloom after my body gives up.

She then let out a low chuckle.

-very well then, step into my maw, and ill take care of you untill my last days, child.

Ive hasitated, ive looked back at Vincent who was waveing goodbye at me, si sighed and stepped inside, the plancton surounded me, and ive bacme a rose in her garden.

Late this august, on the Isle whail the construction of the observatory was being progressed, few members of the worker team found what could only be described as a large crypt, inside which was found to be filled to the brim with living flesh.

Few hours after a phone call, few relocation team specialists from the SPYEYE C.O.R.P have arived at the site and relocated the mass to a more secure location the same night.

It was sentiant, being able to comunicate thru minor vibrations, but unable to form full sentances due to its throught being overgrown with flesh.

She described herself as a outcast, once human aparently, but she dosent considers her one anymore, they locked her in the crypt when her mother died, after she attempted to cut some of her flesh away to prevent her from growing so tall, yet it failed.

Walter offered it a partnership, her flesh for safety, it had no other choice ither way, it was better to rot in the crypt she supose

She was broth to the public, hasetant at first but the market thrived with its contraption, she could see all that the world had to offer, the pain, the love, the sorrow, all of it, the hivemind of meat and love thrives in every engine

She knows all, it says. It can tell me if i wanne know something about someone, and i am so very glad
