GTA 6 being delayed is kinda cool because that means Expedition 33 is 100% going to win Game of the Year and I totally think it deserves it!

Expedition 33 is seriously one of the best RPGs I have ever played in my life and I say that as someone who plays a LOT of RPGs. It inspires hope in me that games continue to shock and challenge fans in such interesting ways! Also screw the mime boss. :P

I legit almost broke down in tears a few times. A certain scene right before the dancing boss made me physically put down my controller and go on a walk outside.

Rented an office for a day since they are roofing the apartments and I need a place to work. For some reason this goofy ass sign is cracking me up lol.

DreamcastGuy @dreamcastguy.bsky.social · 08/04/2025

My thought isnt just that the price is just high or even the quality, it just feels like at some point games will no longer be that "Oh this seems cool, I want to buy it" kinda vibe. $80 in my mind just somehow feels WAAAAAAAAY higher than $60 on an emotional level.

110

DreamcastGuy @dreamcastguy.bsky.social · 08/04/2025

Made a video about it today but I truly think charging $80 for games is going too far. ESPECIALLY for Mario Kart tho. I mean come on, I like mario kart but $80 for THAT?! No. NOOOOOO!

ok going to bed early so I can watch that Nintendo Direct in the morning. My hopes are basically for anything cool but I would LOVE a shadowdrop. Watching a great trailer and it ends with "Play it NOW" always triples my hype lol.

I will never stop loving the janky graphics of a good PS1 game.

5260

DreamcastGuy @dreamcastguy.bsky.social · 25/03/2025

True. I am being hopeful just cause I have a feeling this is going to be a loooooong generation. Lots of years for the Switch 2 to sway the industry a bit.

010

DreamcastGuy @dreamcastguy.bsky.social · 25/03/2025

I am going to throw out a super random prediction. The Nintendo Switch 2 being lower power is going to be VERY IMPORTANT to the gaming industry. These game budgets and dev time are getting insane. A massively popular, lower power system could help game devs get back to smaller, fun games.

5210

DreamcastGuy @dreamcastguy.bsky.social · 24/03/2025

All the games coming out so far in 2025 with the PS5 Pro boost have actually been CRAZY boosted so seeing this on Indiana Jones legit makes me extra excited to play it!!

Thanks so much man! That first few weeks was SUCH a struggle. I still have the final leg of surgery (the bolts in the jaw) ahead of me but I think that should be WAAAAAAY easier than what I already went thru haha.

DreamcastGuy @dreamcastguy.bsky.social · 19/03/2025

Isnt it wild to think that 10 years ago people were like "Whoa Elon Musk is real life Tony Stark!!" and now he is the most hated man on the planet lol.
