Day 4: Game | #Fattytober

After setting up his console, Apollo rummages through his belongings and found what he's looking for. He grabbed the controller and synced it up.
A thought dawned on him upon finishing the setup; he never owned a second controller.
Suddenly, knocks on the door had Apollo rushing to answer it.
🐊: "Sup!"
🐋: "Hector! Come on in-...?"
Apollo stood in the doorway for a moment, bewildered.
🐋: "You wearing only underwear...?"
🐊: " Ey! Not underwear, they're boxers. Got a problem with that?"
🐋: "S-Sorry! Just... I thought people... wear more clothes than that... when meeting someone..."
🐊: "Sorry I don't control the fucking weather, it's hot outside-"
🐋: "W-Wait! It's okay it's okay, I have an A-AC in my dorm... you... don't have to worry, it's okay it's okay..."
🐊: "Sweet, it's chill and I don't have to pay extra on laundry!"
🐋: "Wait- Slippers off first."
🐊: "..."
Hector took off his flip-flops and went to the couch, placing his bag filled with snacks on there before sitting on the floor.
🐊: "Look at you with the cold air money... Might just crash in your place all the time after class."
Silence hung in the air as he walked over to the couch and sat on it.
🐋: "You sit on the floor...?"
🐊: "I like the floor."
The silence remained again, Hector notices Apollo's discomfort.
🐊: "... Sorry if I'm making you uncomfortable, I'll just go-"
🐋: "I-It's okay it's okay- I... I also uhm... new... to people in my dorm."
"We're just... different."
🐊: "... Yeah but I don't wanna like... disturb you-"
🐋: "I... like... being disturbed... by you... Ugh..."
"I'm not good at this..."
Hector snickers a bit, leading to both of them laughing from the awkwardness.
🐊: "Heh! Same... Ehh, if we're laughing about it, guess we're cool."
🐋: "Hmmm!... Ah right, I only got one controller... only one of us can play..."
🐊: "It's aight, I don't know how to play."
🐋: "Eh? But you won't get to enjoy it-"
🐊: "I get to hang out with you either way, man."
Tonight become an eventful one.

🐊: "... oi... Oi... OI!!"
🐋: "Nngh!!?? Huh!!??"
🐊: "Watch yer legs, you were aboutta kick em in the head."
🐋: "Sh-Sh-... Sorry..."
The orca straightened his legs and adjusted his posture.
🐋: "Ugh... ... ... You know when's the sports meet ending?"
🐊: "Lost as you are, mate."
🐋: "Great..."
They looked at the court and see the active participants play badminton.
🐊: "... ... ...Itchin' to get out too?"
🐋: "...! ... Hmph... Yeah... ... ..."
Silence hung in the air as it remained awkward, both of them had moments of eye contact as if they mutually wanted to open their mouths. The cheer of the crowd echoes across the court cuts the silence before the area settles. The silence lingers again as the croc opens his mouth.
🐊: "First year?"
🐋: "...! Y-Yeah."
🐊: "Same... What's the point of making us watch this if we're not participating."
🐋: "Supporting our college I guess? Lost as you are... Doesn't help this place is hot, ugh..."
🐊: "Wanna ditch the joint together? Just say we left our... somethin' at our classrooms maybe?~ Our IDs! Tell the guards we left our IDs at the classrooms~"
The orca's eyes widened hearing this croc's audacity.
🐋: "... But that's- uhm-...! Wait... We don't have our IDs given to us yet."
🐊: "... Shit, right."
The croc leaned his back on the bleachers, stewing over the situation.
🐋: "H-Hey it's okay... I guess we can just... wait a lil, let's uhm... not overthink it."
🐊: "Ugh... We don't even know when this shit ends."
"Oh yeah, am Hector by the way."
🐋: "... Apollo.
The croc smirks a bit.
🐊: "Music God looking a lil rough these days~"
The orca snickers, caught off guard by the snarky remark in a pleasant way.
🐋: "Heh! Yeah yeah alright you're such a funny comedian... heh..."
They chatted together until the event ended. They still chatted on their way back to their classrooms and exchanged contacts before physically parting ways.

Day 1: New Experience | #Fattytober

Apollo carries his last batch of belongings out of the moving truck, dropping off his books next to him on the couch as he finally takes a seat. It's a new experience living alone and left to his own devices. He doesn't fully process it as a wave of exhaustion washes over him as he lets out a sigh then a yawn.

After drinking a cup of coffee, Apollo thought: "... Not enough... Maybe just one more will do..." as he brewed another cup of coffee. He looked at the bars of chocolate he ate and decided the next cup would be mocha.
