I was trying to keep myself occupied and do my best to not to think about what is happening in my home city, so I painted this portrait study. Tempted to fuck around with it a little and experiment, but I’ll probably just hang it up in my studio and put it up for sale

A few years back I made a poster for one of Minneapolis’s parks, and I finally got around to doing another one. Really happy with how it turned out

A fall day in the park. Looking through a couple tall cottonwood trees to a still pond and island in the background. The leaves reflecting on the still water. A small red fox walking past in the foreground

It’s been a long time since I’ve done a piece of fanart, and I’m not sure why, cause they’re so much fun to do

An umbreon standing on top of a gothic gargoyle silhouetted by a full moon. Billowing pink clouds are in the background

Just moved into a new duplex where the renters before me were hoarders and check out this amazing rug I just found in one of the cabinets. In person the colors almost hurt my eyes

Almost florist blue rug probably from the late 60’s

I worked at a garden nursery last year and there were a lot of teens who were working there for their first job. I’d ask in small talk if they were thinking of going to college, and only ONE said yes. They didn’t see a point. Why prepare for a future that would never happen. These were rich kids too

Had a really good time turning my brain off and just painting something for the heck of it cause I liked it This is a catacomb Saint - back during the baroque period, early Christian skeletons from the Roman catacombs were exhumed, elaborately decorated and displayed in Catholic Churches
