I'll never forget the sight of driving into Las Vegas at dusk and seeing a coyote walking on the side of the road with a big white fluffy cat in its mouth.

Every time they announce a new Star Wars movie it feels like that part in Ed Wood where he's pitching films based only on their titles.

Blade Runner 2049 should just always be in theaters. Every time I see it on the big screen I just wanna go back the next weekend to see it again.

Thursday is going to suck for me because I know people are going to scrutinize everything that gets posted to Eva/Patlabor screenshots and try to see if any of them are about Charlie Kirk

If I ever finish working on my write up about the live action Evangelion I'd love to do a deep dive on the live action Robotech project that's been in development hell since the 2000s.

I had a heartbreaking conversation today.

(601) 202-1025

Hey, it's Emma. Curious what you think about America's relationship with Israel today. Can we chat? Stop2End

I've been really sour on Israel since their attack on the USS Liberty

I hear you, that was a tragic accident. It's worth noting that multiple US investigations found it wasn't intentional, and Israel apologized and compensated their families. America is strongest when our allies are strong. The U.S. and Israel have worked together for decades to confront terrorism, strengthen regional security, and promote stability.
Do you stand with Israel?

Are you an AI? If not, send me a picture of your right hand making a thumbs up.

Emma where did you go

(Google Screenshot)
Emma there are people on the internet saying you're trying to argue with me

I know you wouldn't that to me Emma

We've had such a special relationship since we met

Emma please don't leave me like this

Emma do you want feet pics

These AI chuds view land like they're playing StarCraft. As long they've got the resources and can physically fit a building atop a stretch of two dimensional space, they can stave off losing that much longer.

You know people are grasping for straws when their film criticism devolves into the "cultural impact" argument.

You wanna know the truth about The Odyssey?

It’s gonna be forgotten in like 2-3 weeks. Just another cultural footnote for a few weekends before we move on.

The real bellwether on its lasting power?
Not box office.
Not reviews.

It’s memes. And they have not been kind

Odyssey very good but I don't think I liked it as much as Oppenheimer. Still one of the best movies I've seen this year. Gonna see it again soon so I can perceive it as a more cohesive whole.

It makes me so happy that the Patlabor account has a bit of a following. I was kind of worried that it would flounder based on the relatively niche popularity of the franchise in the west but people look to be pretty into it.
