I feel like the writers are slowly working towards writing her character out. I don’t recognize the character due to the poor writing and all the retconning they have done.

I feel like they are waiting until she is no longer on the show and then will suddenly recast the character of Spencer only to put him with one of the white actresses on the canvas. There will be no reference to her and it will be as if Sprina never happened. I hope I’m wrong but I doubt it.

I know plenty of us viewers who could write much better storyline than what they’re giving. I know they see what we post on social media. If they wanted to save the show, maybe someone could have an independent thought to actually listen to the viewers for once.
