Come on American people!! Show yourselves against the planned war crimes of your president. You demonstrated against the Vietnam war. Get out into the streets to demonstrate against this illegal war. You can say to the next generation, that on the 7th April 2026, 'I did the right thing & I was there

The senior leaders in the American military must refuse orders that amount to crimes against humanity. They must not have their eternal conscience stained with compliance with an illegal order.

Does anyone think that Trump dislikes California not only because it is a 'blue' state but also because it is liberal, free thinking and the home of the arts in terms of cinema in Hollywood and where the actors gather for work and leisure? And of course it seems to be a dislike of L.A in particular.

A year ago the paperback edition of my book 'Rationality and Interpretation; On the Identities of Language' was published by Bloomsbury. It has made its way onto University library shelves around the world and in paperback onto Waterstones shelves at some branches. Also available @BloomsburyLing

Beware of Beatriz and Nicki Sullivan!!! You get the full bum treatment!. That's alright if you want it but I don't want Bluesky to be a hook up site. These two lovely women could go to Only Fans and leave the rest of us to discourse on life!

What a beautiful hero. Come to UK Bishop Mariann and take over the Catholic and Anglican Churches together. You will be loved by Brits!!

At the moment, I'm hero worshipping the Bishop of Washington DC. She has immense guts in speaking truth to formidable power. I couldn't see a UK Anglican or Catholic Bishop speaking such truth directly to the head of state or prime minister in such a pointed way. She is wonderful and I pray for her

The problem with the American presidential inauguration is that, unlike the British coronation, there are no mediaeval uniforms and gold carriages. It's all very sober. Having said that I have only caught a 10 minute glimpse of it!

Names of Hostages have now been handed over. So Israel no more delays. Enact the peace now to stop the killing. Start the handover of hostages this afternoon and get in the bloody aid to these starving people. DO IT!!!!

020

Dave Evans @drdaveaevans.bsky.social · 19/01/2025

Come on Ceasefire!!! Come into Being Now! The whole world wants this. Plse Israel Do not prat around at the last minute. Throw yourselves into this with some Faith. You'll know who the hostages are when you see them. You don't need a piece of paper with names on for this. This is bloody lame. DO IT!

Well I spoke too soon. Someone called MariaXSandra is following me showing me her dangly bits and bum. I'm really not looking for this and so it's indecent exposure. Is anyone else experiencing this? We could complain together. I have already done so but to no avail.

God I'm glad the fleshpots have stopped following me! Im now hoping for some real followers with something to say. I'm just fed up with photos without posts. I was beginning to think that Bluesky was a hookup gig!!

The day was dawning voices babbling in the quiet morning. The Great Silence absorbed the noise into its meaning. Always silence into which came the Word that would write the world where all will be returned. The silence whispered the Logos The original word into which all others are shared.

The mystery of our universe revealed to the naked eye. At 6-00pm on the 12th January- Sunday evening, we see a full moon and if you look carefully slightly above the moon and to the right, we see Venus as the brightest of stars. This is Being & Motion in the world, is a sublime mystery and beauty.

This was the Winter sun rising over Sefton Park in the City of Liverpool on Christmas morning. I felt it to be a metaphor for the Light coming into the world. It felt very special and there were only one or two people at that hour to see it. We all wished each other Happy Christmas - btwn strangers.

It's so good to see The English young man Luke Littler as World Darts Champion at the age of 17 years. What a young genius he is and with such a good character. I hope at such a young age that he will cope well with all this success and celebrity and that he stays well balanced and grounded.

An interesting thought which I read earlier is that ' The devil knows your name but calls you by your sin but that God knows your sin but calls you by your name'. That thought is what is important for God is you as a person despite your sin whereas for the devil only your sin is the important thing

Good morning Blue Sky Larks. I wish you all a Happy Saturday. This is a sunny platform as I have encountered it. I haven't seen the word 'hate' mentioned once and foul language expletives of the 'F..' kind are encountered rarely. This contributes to making the platform a welcoming & warm experience

So Francois Bayrou, leader of Modem is France's new Prime Minister. Also the Mayor de Pau in the South of France. It'll be interesting to see if he will last longer than the outgoing Prime Minister Michel Barnier. They are both veteran politicians but Barnier was brought down in a no confidence vote

So there are 2 Christmases , it seems to me - the Christian one about the Light coming into the world to offer us a way to Salvation AND the secular one about jollity and bonhomie. The two can go together but where there is the second version BUT not the first it should be called WinterFest!?
