Doing fieldwork at #Kamestastin Lake is a privilege. A Twin Otter arrived yesterday with Innu from Natuashish & it was wonderful to meet these two amazing women again who are leading a multi-day trek for Innu youth. Thank you @ntesinan for sharing your land & your history.

Back from a wild day on #kamestastin lake. Our destination was the central island, the eroded central peak of this meteorite impact crater. Some big waves from 30 km/h winds, gusting to 50 km/h. Our reward was some spectacular #geology 😀 @westernuspace.bsky.social @westernuearth.bsky.social
