𝕯𝖗𝕮𝖑𝖆𝖞𝖒𝖆𝖓 @drclayman.bsky.social · 15/09/2025Heard something about this recently and wanted to check it out. I know everyone loves making fun of Randy and Gearbox, but credit where it's due, especially in this climate. Fingers crossed they keep doing well. 030
𝕯𝖗𝕮𝖑𝖆𝖞𝖒𝖆𝖓 @drclayman.bsky.social · 07/09/2025Jumping off this, my favourite example of utter ignorance is Halo. The fact that there was someone with the double whammy ideas of "Let's take his helmet off" and "let's have him shaggin" is wild to me. Like clearly, even without having watched it, you know nobody has any clue what Halo is. 120
𝕯𝖗𝕮𝖑𝖆𝖞𝖒𝖆𝖓 @drclayman.bsky.social · 07/09/2025Man we're in that place where any fucking video game IP is getting grabbed and developed into a movie/TV show without a care in the world of who's actually developing it. All because there was a handful of commercial/critical hits in the past 5ish years (mario, tlou etc). 110
𝕯𝖗𝕮𝖑𝖆𝖞𝖒𝖆𝖓 @drclayman.bsky.social · 07/09/2025Home from Inverness, good run and first top 8 that's not a small local tourney. Yippee. Happy enough on paper, but also feel like I didn't play as well as I could. Long travel right before and not great sleep might have had something to do with it. 130

𝕯𝖗𝕮𝖑𝖆𝖞𝖒𝖆𝖓 @drclayman.bsky.social · 23/07/2025RIP Ozzy. Feels unreal, he was one of the people you thought would be around forever. It's staggering to think back on his (and Sabbath's) influence in music as a whole, I don't think it's too much of a stretch to say that every single rock and metal band would sound different today without them. 161
𝕯𝖗𝕮𝖑𝖆𝖞𝖒𝖆𝖓 @drclayman.bsky.social · 09/07/2025After hundreds of hours and thousands of games of Guilty Gear Strive, I have arrived at two truly revelational conclusions. 1. I tend to win against players that are not as good as I am. 2. I seem to struggle against players that are better than me. Who knows, it might apply to you too. 040
𝕯𝖗𝕮𝖑𝖆𝖞𝖒𝖆𝖓 @drclayman.bsky.social · 04/07/2025Genuinely thought this was @theonion.com or @hard-drive.net jfc does no one read this shit before posting? The answer is who the fuck knows. This whole statement was probably drafted, or entirely written by AI. Get in the fucking bin with AI. 030
𝕯𝖗𝕮𝖑𝖆𝖞𝖒𝖆𝖓 @drclayman.bsky.social · 29/06/2025Okay, Edinbrawl done. The event was a blast and really well organised, had a lot of fun seeing familiar faces and meeting new people. GGs! 151
𝕯𝖗𝕮𝖑𝖆𝖞𝖒𝖆𝖓 @drclayman.bsky.social · 10/06/2025If you're on Disney's 4K tier, you are paying x2.6 the yearly price you paid 5 years ago. According to inflation, £1 in 2020 would be £1.25 in 2025, so if the price increases were to account for that, you would be paying around £62.50, not £129.90. This is not inflation. This is greed. 121
𝕯𝖗𝕮𝖑𝖆𝖞𝖒𝖆𝖓 @drclayman.bsky.social · 18/02/2025Another good result last Saturday at MIG. I never checked that going in, so only just realised I was seeded 19th, quite chuffed with my final placement! Next major stop is Edinbrawl IV, might be a tall order to top this at a big one like Edinbrawl, but I'll be damned if I don't try. Onwards! 130

𝕯𝖗𝕮𝖑𝖆𝖞𝖒𝖆𝖓 @drclayman.bsky.social · 28/01/20252,590 games later, I have made celestial for the first time last night! I am a slow learner and quite aware of that, but it still feels like weeks or months go by where I don't get any sense of improvement, so moments like these are all the more worth it. Onwards! 💪 040

𝕯𝖗𝕮𝖑𝖆𝖞𝖒𝖆𝖓 @drclayman.bsky.social · 01/12/2024Neutralmania 2 was wild yesterday, TOs deserve a huge applause for running it so smoothly given the huge crowd that turned up! Such a great day out! Also really happy with my performance, expected a 2-2 at best, but ended up going 3-2 and losing to two really strong players. GGs all around! 030
