I've seen a lot of "don't despair" posts today. But I think it's okay to despair a little. Maybe a lot. Because we cannot (seek) care for hurts we won't feel. That's how we get stuck in misery, which the dehumanization playbooks are counting on. Let's not play along when we need to change the game.
