I classified 132 AI products deployed in US health care by what each does to the work: automate it, augment it, level expertise, or create new tasks. The pattern depends almost entirely on where you look. Short thread; report and open dataset at the end.

Your study of effectiveness ran in one country. The regulator deciding sits in another. I see this now with medical AI: a tool validated in one health system, deployed in another. Does the evidence carry? There is now an ISPE-endorsed framework for answering that.
