Finally used my birthday present from my wife today; an hour long flight simulator at AviaSim in North Kanata. I flew an Airbus A320 from Ottawa to Montreal’s Pierre Elliot Trudeau Airport. What a blast….but my first landing was pretty hairy 😳😎

We’re getting freezing rain now, and then the temperatures are dropping again. When we lived in Auckland, the winters alternated between sun/rain (like Vancouver or San Francisco). I was happy when we came home to a real winter with brisk winds and snowstorms! Branches laden with snow, love it!
