The bird skull is basically paper strips and glue over cardboard that was bent to shape and packing foam for sculpting. The dragon was basically the same but with foam sheets instead of cardboard in an attempt to make it lighter. It wasn't worth it |D More yapping in the alt text ;v #fursuiting

After applying the foam blocks and cutting them to shape. inside you can see the plastic straws i used to hold the thin cardboard in place before covering the whole thing in glue and paper.

Left - Actual mask, now fully covered in paper strips and glue. right - prototype.

Inside of the mask. Painted black with foam blocks for support, an elastic strip as a chin rest/means to push the beak open, and my state of the art hinges (I HAVE to replace them they look so bad 😂😂😂 i mean they do work but they look awful)
