Thought I’d make a lil sketch in a sketchbook I picked up from Denfur, it’s my birthday today!

A sketch with a white color pencil on black sketchpaper! My mouse is sitting cheerily blowing on a kazoo thing and wears a birthday hat next to a cake with the number 37 on it

halito, I’m gonna try to post more art after a long break too! I would also like to get myself ready and prepared to accept commissions, though it feels like it’s gonna take me a lot of preparation first!

I met up with @sofiegold.bsky.social today at Denfur!! It was a super fun convention and I’m glad it’s a local one I could go to again next year Also Sofie helped me figure out the cool S, that was awesome

halito, I've been rotating this lizard gal in my head for a pathfinder game after finishing a previous game that went to level 20! There's also been a LOT that's happened since i've been working at a ren faire this year, but I'm running out of letters for this post, heck! I'm well at least! #art

Part two of going to see the Backrooms movie, I found a really big room outside the theater and felt this was also really fitting for what I was watching. I kind of love painting over photos, I might give a few more of these a go! Also it's nice to make art of Yarrow as a mouse and wyvern! #art

Yarrow as a wyvern looking down at an entrance to a movie theater in an oddly large sized room.

#art Halito, I felt a strong pull to start working with acrylic primary colors I have! this was painted with a 2” wash brush with an angle and without an angle, and the clouds were painted with a round brush I have! I love the tip on round brushes, painting spirals on the clouds was very fun!

A painting of a deep blue sky with white spiral fluffy clouds floating above gently rolling hills, or waves.

#art Here’s my progress so far on my painting! I’m taking my time with things, and I’ve learned working with a cardboard box surface made me need to learn to adapt to a not smooth surface! That’s okay, it’s been fun to just experiment without stressing over things not looking super accurate!

#art halito, I wanted to share this update on my art journey! I had fun mixing this, it’s acrylic blended with white gesso after I brushed a good amount of water first to keep things from drying out! Oh, and I used a 3” and 2” wash brush for this, and I feel it turned out really well!

#art I wanted to draw my wyvern again, and accidentally gave a flat color for a sketch that made me keep adding more to what was just a study, oops! I had a lot of fun making this, heck!!

Halito, it's trans visibility day, and I wanted to make and post something! It's been four years since I started hrt in my 30's, and took the steps to live a much happier life being able to be who I am. Being able to transition has given me reason to smile still, even with everything, heck #art

I realized I can share my thoughts while having fun with pictochat after all these years, so, here y'all go! #art

A mouse in pictochat says, "Hiya! We should return to picto chat!! We deserve way better than a dystopia!" She then wistfully says, "What I dream of, is a peace filled world. One free of those trying to control others. Right now, we really seem to be on a dark path." She later shouts, "BUT!! It doesn't have to be this way! We can make a brighter future for ourselves!"

A hyena rabbit works on a radio of some sort as it picks up a message that says, "-practice mindfulness." A desk with an ink well, pen and open book are also visible, with a bookcase in the back and a window with a view of a city at night can be seen.

Sure, sounds like a really nice idea to share some stuff I've been holding onto for a while now! Here's stuff I made thinking of game ideas, dream places I would like folk to explore, also a learning project from when I just started to push myself to work with color in Paint Tool SAI, years ago!

A dreamscape of a sea shore at night, with a lone mouse sitting on a dune playing a lyre under a starry sky with two moons high above. A swing set, two clusters of crystals and a solitary lighthouse are also visible.

A lunar landscape within a crater, with a distant city towering up into a mostly starless sky with three orbiting bodies in the background. One of the worlds appears to be in the process of either being made, or unmade.

A piece depicting a grassy meadow with a deep blue sky and light clouds above, and another of light rays falling down onto a secluded pond deep within a forest.

A surreal landscape of several towers rising from a deep blue ocean, and a mouse with a crystal tipped tail looking on excitedly toward an opened entrance to the central spire. Above rise storm clouds on the distant horizon, with a gas giant and world hanging even higher up, with a distant city in the sky and a trio of brightly shining stars in the distance.

Letting Go (This is something i started back in september, i’ve since had to say goodbye to one of my cats not long after losing my grandfather, I feel this piece reflects that loss well. I’m doing better now though, thankfully! I felt this was a good moment in time to share this, finally.) #art

A wyvern wearing a golden collar lays on the floor of a dark room, tears at her eyes. A monitor displays two stellar objects in the background, and a window allows a view at an underground city illuminated only by glowing magic crystals.

here’s a second piece I was working on and have held onto for the past few weeks! Both this and my previously shared art are inspired by a game called Noctis IV, an old space exploration game that was around before no man’s sky was a thing! #art

A wyvern slumbers on a world with two pyramidal structures, one with a pod helpfully sitting atop the more distant ruin. Two kangaroo like creatures stay a safe distance from Yarrow as she sleeps, and a flock of birds flies through the partly cloudy sky as a green sun sets on the horizon.
