FLASH DEPLOYMENT NOTICE

some may say that card games and garlic bread are not a natural pairing.

your DRAW PHASE directorate disagrees. we believe that proper nourishment is critical to the comprehensive level of tactical thinking necessary for strategic development and competitive success — or at least for dealing with that friend who rolls up to the pod with their new Fire Lord Azula deck "but I swear it's only bracket 3" — and we posit that garlic bread may well be the ideal form factor through which to acquire it.

to put this theory to the test, we will be deploying to

GAYS EATING GARLIC BREAD IN THE PARK

Saturday, June 6
12am to 5pm

at Woodland Park
1000 N 50th St, Seattle WA

providing our customary host of learn to play experiences, local community volunteers eager to teach, and our Commander Loaner Library. come play a few games, learn something new, and meet some lovely people...

... maybe evne your future play group?

// INCOMING MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTORATE

good evening.

with two days remaining before the Sakura-Con floodgates open, we thought we should send out something a little more personable.
something to let you know who we are, what we do, and how we operate. a primer, if you will. so, without further ado:

we are DRAW PHASE, a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
we are run by the community, for the community.
we are here to support and advance the health of any and all TCG communities in the Pacific Northwest who believe in the mission, whatever and wherever they might be.
we believe in inclusivity, accessibility, and the right to be who you are.
we believe in the power of friendship, community, and the third place.
we believe that the love and excitement our volunteers have for their favorite games is transmissible—and we want to share it.

so come visit us on the third floor of Arch at 800 Pike in Tahoma 5, just below Artist Alley. play in a draft. learn something new. the only thing you'll need is your badge—because it's all at no additional cost.

—with ♥, your draw phase directorate

(and if you doubt our heart for you, let it be known: this director had to retype all of this by hand because they forgot to save the draft they put in the image.)
