#TheJumpingSpider Non-spoiler intro/synopsis to The Jumping Spider. I might change it if there are certain aspects of the story I'll add/cut. The characters + logo will have updated designs before the end of the year.

THE JUMPING SPIDER

Story Details
Characters

Clynn Hyllucana (Hyllus Africanus); The main character. A positive change in the spiders he meets, and tries to see the good in most things. He is the jumping spider.
Polo Phalgiodes (Pholcus phalangioides, long-bodied cellar spider); Clynn’s closest friend, has a disability that disallows him from molting. Relies on Clynn to help him with daily activities as he is a wheelchair user. He builds Clynn’s gadgets.
June EmBold (Phidippus audax, Bold Jumper); Clynn’s love interest. Very poppy, bubbly, and overall just a positive force of nature.
Devi Cantha (Macracantha arcuata, long-horned orb weaver): Vietnamese spider, close to Clynn and Devi. She is a metal vocalist. She’s helps Polo build Clynn’s gadgets. She hates the queen/leadership of the Old World.
Ray Theridio (Theridiosoma Gemmosum, Eastern ray spider); British spider, teaches Clynn how to use his rollerblade as an artform and fighting style. He is a heavy romanticizer.
Coula Lividigo (Cyriopagopus lividus, Cobalt Blue Tarantula); Vietnamese spider, close friends with Devi. She has anger issues.

Story + Synopsis

Clynn Hyllucana, a Hyllus Africanus, is enjoying his last months of senior school, working at a fast-food burger joint, spending time with his best friend, and spending time with his family, living a normal life. All of that changes when he stumbles upon a dying hero, the jumping spider. He takes the jade vampiric spider fangs that the previous jumping spider gave him and gets bitten by them. Clynn’s life changes as he becomes the new Jumping Spider and enters his adult stage of his lifecycle. Clynn will learn to balance himself, make lasting relationships, and learn more about the mysteries of the Old World. Journey with Clynn as he changes the lives within his home, as everyone has eyes on him and the Jumping Spider mantle.

Never feel the need to come out is a requirement Being queer is something normal not a big deal Don’t feel the need to gain acceptance from parents when they’re homophobic thinking you will get excused. You will find it somewhere else I promise you.

happy belated birthday to sterling! (everyone go watch a movie with your loved ones.)

Carmine (they/them) and Sterling (he/him) are seated next to each other on a couch. The viewer is behind them. They seem like they're about to start watching a movie, with the remote in Sterling's hand, and Carmine's arm nearly around him on the couch.

9th game could change anytime tbh.

020

People really just didn't watch Stone Ocean with how much they're complaining about SBR. I just genuinely have to remember that being on Twitter is an actual sea of larpers.

0100

I'm hoping they'll change it midway through the anime as the hype moments slow down and the story becomes more emotional. 🤞🏾

020

It's an original track, so it's not chosen by Araki, most likely. It's hip-hop that sounds generic and was also produced by Dr. Luke, who's known for sexual assault... Just a fucking mess.
