just wondering since people complaining the yuri games they have are visual novels only (untrue but does take effort to find) what other genre of yuri games do people want 🤔

#Raineyapping but like if i make an rpgmaker yuri game, its like half visual novel bcoz rpg needs a story right? 🤔

#Raineyapping i vowed not to overwork my hand and then typed that huge ass thread 😭 anyways, i got a day rest, hand is still a bit achey but doable. Pray for my clients to get their art because idk what the shit im doing

Reiner 🐯🔊 🟡☕ for commissions! @drawat415pm.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

yeah!!! like whats the harm if you have a vgen already and then you sign up to kofi or commsgg? if you promote those then people would eventually flock there and your vgen comms will be... just there its not like vgen asks you to pay to stay open, just save that acc just in case, dont burn it 😭😭

020

Reiner 🐯🔊 🟡☕ for commissions! @drawat415pm.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

im not leaving vgen for it 😭 at least not now. widen your investments people, dont put all your eggs in one basket, or "holy shit two cakes!" if thats more up your alley in the end, what you think is a no go line and who is worth investing your time with is up to you

140

Reiner 🐯🔊 🟡☕ for commissions! @drawat415pm.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

im not even a die hard defender for them, in the end its a website with transactional benefits. smol team doing their best to give a good experience and thats about it i would expand my services to more websites if the benefits + reputation outweighs my laziness to sign up to websites just yknow

130

Reiner 🐯🔊 🟡☕ for commissions! @drawat415pm.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

sites left that doesnt have ads, doesnt sell user data, has access to PP, Stripe, CCs, allows NSFW art, an easily seen queue list w/ stats and with *only* 5% cut per commission 😭 comms gg is getting there, im cheering for them but this thread aint about them 😭

120

Reiner 🐯🔊 🟡☕ for commissions! @drawat415pm.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

just brought it up here bcoz theres a lot of posts in X fearmongering that the site isnt safe anymore and those posts get amplified lets just remember that this site is made by a small group, no big daddy MC or PP to sponsor them just give them some time, we can't be destroying one of the only +

110

Reiner 🐯🔊 🟡☕ for commissions! @drawat415pm.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

vgen did give the bare minimum of labeling them at least. If you only want to commission indie artists, check if they have the label and go from there will there be false positives and undetected brokers? yeah ofc, and then, again, we will circle back to expand the moderation team discussion 😭

110

Reiner 🐯🔊 🟡☕ for commissions! @drawat415pm.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

idk, have u guys used a translation app for anything other than the western languages?? 😭 its not great mang, especially most people would speak casually w/ their artist, that context will be GONE + most translation apps nowadays also use AI which goes against vgen's stuff

110

Reiner 🐯🔊 🟡☕ for commissions! @drawat415pm.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

for the brokers, its really just that one big batch of bad apples isnt it? 😭 thats the hard thing with companies like these, its so hard to weed them out w/o affecting the innocent brokers like ppl are saying theyre not needed and a translation app should suffice?

110

Reiner 🐯🔊 🟡☕ for commissions! @drawat415pm.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

their platform is big now, if not one of the biggest commissioning platforms out there. Their moderation team should grow in proportion to that expanding clientele they can also halt new invites just to prune the current reports to a size, but thats up to their discretion

120

Reiner 🐯🔊 🟡☕ for commissions! @drawat415pm.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

and w/ the AI stuff, unfortunately, w/ how prevalent the slop is nowadays, its impossible to keep any platform AI free. However, vgen did promise AI free in their marketing, at the very least they should work towards eliminating most of it hence why i think they should expand their mod team

120

Reiner 🐯🔊 🟡☕ for commissions! @drawat415pm.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

other than that, i think ppl are just having the wrong idea about the platform + asking too much vgen is a site to help artists w/ accepting commissions, its not their job to promote an artist's commission nor should it be their priority. Social media like twitter and bsky are better for this

130

Reiner 🐯🔊 🟡☕ for commissions! @drawat415pm.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

#Raineyapping i remember talking about it in here before but you know your platform really got big when you get huge hits to your PR like this 😭 imo, vgen does need to recruit/expand more of their moderation team and enforce a stricter protocol for artist codes
