Went on a hike last week, finally got around to editing the photos from it. REAL rough hike up a very steep incline on a mountain, but it was nice as I had the trail mostly to myself in the late afternoon.

Didn't get many good pictures of the lunar eclipse proper; stood outside for 45 minutes around peak and unfortunately clouds rolled in right before I got outside to take shots. Did get some good mood pics, though, and a decent test shot from earlier on.

Working on a big PS2 modding project, hoping to show it off in a month or so before ESA! Just waiting on some of the painted custom shells I've been working with friends on, the rest is functionally there.

Finally getting through some Vietnam trip photo edits; got a bunch more coming up in the next few days. This might be my favorite photo I've ever taken.

Vietnam trip update: it's gorgeous up here in the mountains in the north. Weather's been cloudy but comfortable msotly, with some rain interspersed. Went to a hot spring, saw a native tribe's village. Full report back will happen later.

I've been doing a lot more than just ripping CDs on mine but it's always nice to know I have the like 200+ DVDs from my family backed up somewhere.

Not gonna lie, work's been rough lately. Just a lot to get used to, lots of stress. But knowing I can go see my friends in a few months has made it a lot more bearable.

A confirmation that dralnah has registered for ESA Summer 2026.

Got a few records on the way home! Very happy to finally have found some Rush in the wild in decent shape. The Chicago album was free because of the sticker.

Cleaning off some records today; a lot of them are old and have a ton of dust and dirt in the grooves. Here's a few choice picks that cleaned up well.

Hi! A friend of mine has had a very large medical bill that they weren't expecting pop up. They've put a big discount on their usual artwork to cover the costs! If you like what you see, please give them consideration, and pay their full prices if you can! discord: @boinbon Insta: @humrism

Finally got this old turntable fixed up a couple weeks ago. Wasn't cheap because I had to get a new cartridge for it and splurged a bit on that, but it sounds better than my old table. No distortion at all, doesn't skip. Feels good to be able to fix up stuff you got for cheap and use it.

I just got back from what may have been the two most incredible weeks of my life. #esa2025 and the following week were a reminder of how much love there is in the world. If you were involved, thank you so much. And if you want to read about it more, check here: dralnah.com/blog photo.dralnah.com

Finally got the cables in to hook up my turntable to my computer's audio interface, and I have some brand-new Dream Theater vinyl and about 45 other records I've been collecting over the past few months. Time to get ripping I guess. Might make this a consistent thing in my server.

Good morning! I hope everybody has a good day. Today's thought: I want to make more time for photography, and play more video games again. I want to use my 4x5 film camera, but also I forget how expensive sheet film is.

This is your reminder to go out there and stir up some shit. If something is making you upset, don't complain about it on the internet. Go out and organize protests, talk to local people about it. Chances are, someone's gonna already be organizing things you can pitch in on, too.

A few of the photos I'm proud of from last year. I got to go to some amazing places and see some cool things last year. This year is less focused on places and more on people, but I'll still get some good photos in, I'm sure.

A nighttime sky over a flotsam-covered beach in silhouette. The Milky Way can be seen overhead.

Hey guys, happy Yool! Definitely not a holiday I made up bc this time of year sucks for a lot of people. Come hang out and watch some very normal games like Metal Gear Solid, Bayonetta, and Morrowind, with no switch-ups whatsoever! I hope to see you there! #streamer #twitch #livestream

I'm kinda glad I'm not spending a whole lot of time on here, honestly. Social media can be fine and all but every one of these apps is designed to be time sinks; I'd rather spend some time getting to do something irl, or at least not pointlessly scrolling. Anyway, got a new watch. Check it.

Took a walk around the city I work in yesterday in the evening. It's not a bad place to be, especially when the weather is temperate like it was. Despite being one of the more walkable cities in the US, it was still pretty miserable to walk back to my car, though. 📷📸

This time of year is always a little rough for me; working a normal day job means I don't see the sun except when I'm working, and also means I don't get to go out to take photos much. Y'all who deal with downturns in mood this time of year, remember to take care of yourselves. 📷📸

New car this week! Don't have much else to report. Now that I'm done with all the things I wanted to do this year, I'm going to be focusing more on enjoying myself and (very hopefully) getting out that video in the next few weeks. Still have a couple locations to visit before I can start editing. 📷📸

Something about this photo I took yesterday while walking around town just really hits different for me. It feels uncanny and desolate, almost ominous. Really love it honestly; need to go out and look for weird shots like this more. #fujifilm 📷📸
